We used dumb terminals with monochrome green screens hooked to dot matrix printers and giant tape reels. Those were the days. 500 pages of printed code for code that barely did anything like a user interface shell. AI does most of the work now 😞.
i honestly feel like we should go back to more buttons than touchscreen, simply because if one button break, you don't have to change the whole dang thing like with a screen would do if it broke
Top left reminds me of those chips you would grab from those dead red marines from DOOM 2016, or how the keycards were designed in the OG games and 2016.
Can we talk about the obvious benefits of having actual buttons to push instead of just touchscreens? Hardware that you can troubleshoot without every operation hinging on an internet connection?
I bought a 11" Samsung tablet last year, my first tablet since an iPad 1 I bought at launch, and honestly trying to handle something so skinny and slippery and dense was a nightmare 🙄

reminds me of the original Gameboy

Good Times...
I don't make the rules.
You knew what was up when you arted this shit.
Please keep it coming. 🤓
My hand isn't the steadiest of the bunch, but I do applaud your dedication and finesse!
Do we crave durability in design because our current technology is void of it?
Kinda like a Game Boy.

I’m thinking a mix between a PDA and a flip phone. Some sort of unfolding PDA.
That's exactly what I want to see !
Thanks for this man !
I so miss tech with shapes aside from "thin slab". Bring back chonkiness! Give me something to grab on to! Ahhhhhh.
Sorry, I just wish people would stop idolizing Dieter Rams style. It's been done, it's boring, move on.
