There's a boss later on that took me so long to kill, and frustrated me so badly, that when i finally did it, my brain flooded with so much dopamine that i completely missed the following cutscene
This is key to Fromsoft’s appeal I think, the sheer wave of dopamine that comes from clearing a difficult section of the map and defeating a nigh-impossible boss is unrivaled

Honestly the Fromsoft special sauce. Getting annihilated so many times that when you finally Edge of Tomorrow it, your brain gets blasted to its component atoms by chemical dam breaking.
