Some of the earliest BlueSky adopters were the first people who fled Twitter: furries, trans folks, sex workers, and myriad other marginalized people.

In other words: this platform wouldn't exist or have the (mostly) positive culture it does if it weren't for furries, so have a little respect.

Right? Like, I think it was still "ok" (from a user interaction standpoint) for a day or two after the election, but then the resisters joined a few days later and brought all the old-network bad behaviors with them. (And I say it's the resisters because conservatives are pretty much locked down)

I loved that period of time between May and November where I felt like I belonged here, but the vibe is gone.
