Years ago I had someone mistakenly get in my car as I was waiting for my son to come out of a store . Not sure who was more surprised, me or the stranger. From then on I lock my car at all times .

So awful. Sorry you this happened to you. Because there was a trend years ago of people slipping in through the passenger side to steal purses while a person pumped gas, I developed the habit of locking the car when I get out. I do it without thinking now.

Well I won’t now. Had no idea that was a thing. Made the sheriffs deputy look at surveillance (too much dateline) and wataya know. Less than 8 seconds. Blue Audi. Incredible.
