In case some missed this one🔗👇🏻 🙏 Please, read it. It could help to understand the big threat. We need to make noise 🗣️🔊 A lot of people don’t know about the attack to science & NIH, funds are not released or understand the disastrous consequences.

The more people romanticize jobs based on physical labor, the less of it they’ve usually done. My husband is a carpenter in his 40s and he and most of the people he works with around his age are now trying to figure out how to transition into a sustainable job that doesn’t physically break them.

The Deerfox? My 5-year-old adores Hilda. It’s such a beautiful show and there’s such a sense of loss throughout it in so many different ways.

Can someone tells me if this is the same basic premise as the Abundance book? Because it sure sounds like it, but I also don’t want to read it.

Framing BLM as a movement that had “teams” whereas the current environment is a struggle in which “everyone has a stake” is … just a fundamental misunderstanding of everything. And I think that’s being charitable.

So you are voting NO on cloture and NO on the CR, right? Anything less than that is a charade and complicity with this deranged and unconstitutional Republican agenda.

In other words, Dems see the challenge as the expectation they'll do something and they see the solution as a series of actions that eliminate that expectation while insulating them from criticism. They do not see Musk or Trump as the problem to address, but the frustration of their own voters.

Like, you truly, fundamentally do not understand the purpose of government, money, or projection of force if you think a polity needs to justify its budget and/or debt when it controls both the means of creating more money as well as thermonuclear armageddon

OMFG. No CR, no cloture. Shut it the fuck down. It’s already happening. Stop negotiating with terrorists.

It's just enormously important to understand that the goal of this tariff policy isn't to raise money or to increase manufacturing in the United States. The goal is to make some of the nation's largest companies subject to Trump's personal discretion and dependent on his favor.
