Musk has never been interested in government “Efficiency”. He seized all these giant government datasets to train his AI on. Massive datasets are gold. Especially the very datasets he plans to implement his own AI on. That was always his #1 goal. And to drown out any competition in the process.

Some processes could be automated, but government requires very high accuracy rates and we just aren’t seeing that in AI yet.

As a government contractor he should have 0 opportunity to be involved in any business undertaking this endeavor. Huge violation of all conflict of interest laws. We also have to wonder if they already stole billions of dollars worth of our government data. That is our data, we own it.

We are already extremely close to a constitutional crisis. Any emergency relief plans need to factor in the worst case scenario, which is where we are rapidly headed.

I think we are evolving into a two tiered justice system where laws are enforced selectively. We won’t have the option to not pay taxes, and divert them elsewhere. A tax-write off is good, assuming they still exist.

I’ve been trying to game out how this is going to look after total destruction. There is going to be a huge void where social services used to be. I think the impact on the entire economy is going to force many people into poverty that are not currently there. What will 15% unemployment look like?

I’ve been thinking the same thing. This system handles trillions in payment though. Government spending touches every part of the economy. I’m not sure how we would organize something like this, but it would require a bit of triaging to take the most in need first.

I’m starting to think the average Democratic Senator is less informed than the average leftie. Not sure why this would be, but I have a feeling that don’t understand how big of a threat we are facing right now. If they did, they would be reacting with appropriate opposition.
