I have dysgraphia which means writing is hard sometimes. It's a real thing that I don't think people consider to be an issue, but actively impacts me every day.

I'm still mad about this, I was so excited to finish this one. ðŸ˜

Oh, sorry, you were replying to the original pic before blue came in, my apologies.
I had more black yarn which was helpful though!!

That's a solid plan in theory, but it's still not gonna be enough for the other squares I needed to outline in blue. Thank you though!!

You can skip it, The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances are my favorite episodes so I'm a bit biased lol. But for real, you can skip the episode and not miss a whole lot of plot line.

That's actually how I feel about knitting!! It took me well over 20 years to even figure out how to cast on. I've been crocheting since I was about 7 so at this point it's second nature, but there are still so many other crafts that get me stumped.

A shawl!! I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it as a triangle or if I'm going to eventually go the rectangle route, but it's gonna be a shawl once I'm done.

Thank you!! I've been making it up as I go along, I'm enjoying the look of it so far.

NOOOO I'm so sorry!!!!
I'm just used to working with worsted weight and this is much thinner. That and some of the fibers that stick out keep getting caught with my hook and it messes up my stitch. I'll get it done eventually but it's a struggle.
I hope you manage to fix your sleeve. ðŸ˜

I NEVER UPDATED THIS. I finished the project!! I'm actually pretty proud of this considering I haven't made many wearable crochet items AND that I didn't use a pattern. 🧶

Oh no, I get that too actually. I have to be careful with what I eat while wearing them because if it's something like chips or popcorn, the crunch is LOUD to me.

The HEB by my house insists on having the speakers on full blast at all times. Annoying. I can get groceries now though. Also the TV section at Walmart is much more tolerable. They were also a huge help at the concert last night. I love them.

I made it home!!

GOD I feel that. I used to wear them to work (back when I worked out of the house) and that was just in a retail setting. I can only imagine the hell that is noise from working construction.

They're such good ear plugs!!!!! Literally at a bar on open mic night and actually enjoying myself without pain from the speakers.

After a LOT of trial and error, I think I've gotten the hang of what I'm doing. Still a bit more work to be done but I'm optimistic!!

The original took me a little less than a day to make start to finish.
It's been 3 days since I had to restart, and I'm only just now on the last section.

I hate them but you may wanna get some plastic hooks purely for this.

Which one do you like more? I'm a big fan of half doubles personally, I use them more than anything else.
comment in response to

Also I'm trying to recreate the bag I made. I haven't posted a picture yet, but it was made with a lot of half doubles which made it a pretty quick project, but now the bag doesn't really function well since it stretches too much.

Oh they're extremely useful, and there are so many things out there that would not function without them (almost all amigurumi projects). They're necessary for sure. I just personally don't enjoy how slow building it is if that makes sense. I prefer half doubles for the slight height difference.
