TRAs are the homophobes. Most people who attack them are staunch LGB supporters.

Yes I suspect almost no-one believes that claim is anything more than a rhetorical porky

But each successive blade shaves a tiny bit closer, until your whiskers are so amazingly short you know you've bought yourself an extra 15 mins pre-shadow chinage.

Those guys are tame compared to steel guys. When you reach welders you're well into Kool Aid territory.

Bollocks Guardian is a gender cult cheerleader. Trans women are not demonised they're just being told to stop appropriating women's privileges..

She's absolutely right

There there Horace. No-one is going to hurt trans people, poppet. Don't believe the haters - trans people are still protected from discrimination and harassment just as they were before.

Virtue signalling claptrap.

I sat on top or Ularu (before it was closed) and listened to this on my walkman while looking across the vast Australian plane, and it seemed the most perfect match of music and place I'd ever experienced.

Let's all just wait till Sunday for some sanity from this account. The Guardian is already a joke but without the Observer would be an irrelevant joke.

It's not hostility to trans women, Jennifer, it's hostility to the appropriation of women's privileges and the hollowing out of their rights. And unless you're saying that the Supreme Court's ruling does not matter for women, then you have to accept that the legal actions were not illegitimate.

One thing that is clear from your posts today, Paul, is that you 'hate' gender critical people for what they believe, which courts have repeatedly ruled are perfectly legitimate views. So you are in fact guilty of your own thought crime. This has a name - hypocrisy
comment in response to post
The problem is that 'hate' against transgender is self-reported, and as you well know they self-report refusal to accept they are what they claim to be. Stonewall used to promote this interpretation until very recently forced to change. So the data is fundamentally flawed.

They feel they can say what they want to people who they consider to be morally wrong. And to be fair I don't take offence at pathetic slurs anymore. I take offence at attempts to deprive others of their fundamental rights, such as women and such as people's rights to expression.

On balance I'll go with his take. Your post was absurd.

No, not because of who they are, but because of the ideology they've been forcing on everyone else for years now. The resistance to which started to gain a legal basis in 2021 with Maya Forstater. And which got a MASSIVE boost today. I'm not sorry for feeling great about this so cry elsewhere.

That's 5 times you've replied to me today, Paul. I'm flattered you're taking such an interest in my timeline, but don't you have something better to do? πŸ˜‚

Trans rights groups were perfectly able to petition to make submissions to the court, but they clearly chose not to.

You lost for a reason - you backed the side trying to bring about a monumental injustice. I suggest you stick to fox population control.

Ok well according to the article he is "a Parkrun event director"and has been a "run director in Stratford-Upon-Avon on 132 occasions", so fairly happy with my wording

This is a job for all historians, politicians and others with interests in human rights. The message of this museum is strongest if they do not seek to step into contemporary politics.

You should respect Auschwitz Memorial's mission. The victims of Auschwitz and other camps deserve to be heard about without your shallow moral whataboutery.

This is essentially saying that, in social media discourse, the meaning of words is secondary to dunking the other side. I can't get on board with that.

The people who want to increase division and mistrust between 'us' and 'them' worry me the most. They're the ones responsible for most human rights violations in history.

Not to diminish Michael at all as he is a great guy. But how about a shout out to JK Rowling too for philanthropy that is ~160X more, and ~3X more proportional to wealth? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._K._R...

I'm not going to dispute the science denialism of the right and climate change and vaccines. But shall we be objective and discuss the intersectionality of the science denialism of the left?
