Waking watch - the most ridiculous, expensive waste of time mechanism ever! We had them in our block and all they did was fall asleep, watch Netflix, block fire exits, cause EXTRA fire hazards due to overloading plugs & smoking under flammable cladding. Oh and urinate in our car park. Needs banning!

The CQC issued a damning verdict on the state of maternity services in England. Time &time again we see the same mistakes being repeated- lack of escalation to obstetricians, failure to implement birth plans in high risk pregnancies, incorrect CTG reporting- the list goes on. Things need to change!

I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. I was in my 2nd year at university and watched in absolute horror and disbelief at what I was witnessing. It’s just heartbreaking that 23 years later, lives are still being lost due to diseases related to the dust/smoke. #neverforget

So today we’ve had the news that the remediation work on our block is nearing completion and the EWS1 is in the post ! We might FINALLY be able to sell up after almost 6 years !! It’s taken 3.5 years of arguing over “who pays” and another 2 for the works to complete… the end is in sight !!! 🤞
