My kid’s favorite teacher is leaving mid-year for a higher paying teaching job closer to home. She’s crushed. Ann Arbor housing is too expensive for most teachers, & the district is one of the lowest paying in the region. This is a systemic failure disguised as a career move. #a2council #a2achools

Today for several hours ahead of #MISOTS25 I-96 was shut down between Lansing and Detroit because someone was killed in a crash. We've accepted this as normal. Driving cannot continue to be the only reliable way to travel here. Sustainable transit funding must be a priority.
