On vacation with my sister, at every meal, there'd be a moment where I noticed her dog staring at me: "Dobby would like you to know that bagels are his favorite...." (foodstuff would change each time) - made me laugh.

I personally think Musk is this term's Bannon. People were relieved when he went but ultimately it just got worse. Same here.

I feel like the correct next moment is to end the interview, and then the CNN personnel laugh and say "of course, we all know there was no EV mandate. Next up...."

They want to expressly allow discrimination against trans people in places of public accommodation and the way they’re getting some centrists/liberals on board is focusing on a small subset of an already small demographic—trans athletes. It’s really annoying watching some people fall for it.

THere’s something like 5 k-12 trans athletes in the country. FIVE. Please stop pretending like this is some dire concern from people who really give a shit about women’s sports. I’m begging you to stop being distracted by these ceaseless attacks on trans people.

We're boycotting Target and all things Bezos indefinitely. Join us!

You should google how many trans athletes are out there. You'll immediately see how non-reality this is as a real issue and in fact is just bigotry cloaked in something 'real.'

This is one of the ugliest parts of America: that too many of us do not understand that there are parts of the world that do not belong to us.

Target out for us as well. My partner insists that we tag or email them each time we shop elsewhere when previously would have at target so that’s in the works as well :)

SOTU seats are not assigned. There are general seating areas for each body (House, Senate, SCOTUS,etc) but there are honored seats for each party’s leadership and they’re even trying to squat those. If it doesn’t sort out, be aware you may see applause on both sides of the aisle but they may be GOP

I’ve decided to passive aggressively post the store name and total spent and tag whole foods going forward. After the WaPo thing we’re boycotting all Bezos indefinitely. Today’s $140 would have gone to WF and instead went to TJs. The power of the free market.

Correcting this 7 replies down into your thread leaves the 'EO is law' prominent throughout the thread and remaining the first thing people see. Reposting it accurately and deleting the original would be most helpful. You're not fixing a spelling error here; it is misleading as you left it.

I think being a violent misogynist is a personal moral failure and not evidence that a man is the Real Victim, Actually.

We need to talk more about how it feels to be a woman amidst this sudden onslaught of “reclaiming masculinity,” celebrating male aggression and violence, and vanishing smart experienced women from positions of power.
