What a joke, supporting Ukraine is absolutely in the interest of the United States, Europe and frankly the rest of the world...

And for it to stop money has to get out of politics. To reverse the wealth transfer the tax system has to change, eg tax wealth instead of income. Obvi the wealthy will put up a big stink, but they have to be unable to buy elections. There’s more of us than of them. It has to count for something..

I agree with you, but one or two things are missing. The problem the middle class doesn’t advance is because of a massive transfer of wealth from the middle class to the rich and big corporations. They grease the wheels of both parties and that has to stop. 1/2

Anybody that is not a white male falls into the DEI category. That’s what that means…

Yes, this is the biggest problem in our politics. Once the money is out, we should tax wealth instead of income, so wealth flows back to the lower and middle class from the ultra wealthy.

And why does he have a football, sorry, soccer world cup trophy behind his desk?

I think one of the biggest problem in this country is the money in our politics. It drives wealth inequality where the rich are sucking the middle class dry. The money needs to get out of politics. Before that happens nothing much is going to really change.. and certainly not from the middle…

It put a smile on my face as I was walking to the train. And I also loved the the coda with your guest where you discussed the use of f-bombs with children in the house. I feel the same way.

Very true. But I feel this applies to both sides. Kamala Harris didn’t raise a billion $ in record time from small donors. Corporations donate to both sides, then keep greasing the side that won. Like that nothing is going to change, regardless who wins.

Of course companies are all for deregulation, because having to cleanup after themselves cuts into their bottom line. Regulations are needed so it’s not the taxpayers who end up paying for the cleanup.
comment in response to post
Yes, but why would they if there are no laws that require it, or the law is not enforced? It just cuts into their bottom line..

“Dumpster fire” comes to mind..

I totally agree. But, how do we turn this ship around? As long as money influences politics I’m afraid not much is going to change. Kamala Harris didn’t raise over a billion dollars from small donors neither…

Republicans complain about redistribution of wealth. It’s happening, just not from the rich to the poor, but the other way around…

As long as money can buy elections, nothing is going to change… sadly

That looks awesome!
