Yes, there are tuberculosis outbreaks in the U.S. at the moment, especially in Kansas. However, there are always US cases and for now it’s not out of range of normal. This is not because of vaccines. BCG vaccine for TB is generally not administered in the U.S. because TB is relatively uncommon here.
