That was one heckuva lunar eclipse in #Pittsburgh this morning. I headed into the city a little after 1:00 to start capturing it, but the best part of the day was just before 3:00 at totality. The moon looked incredible perched atop a spire of PPG Place. Tons more to come.

Kid just spotted a bat flying around the treetops out back! I'm so proud, he a) was observing enough to notice it, b) has observed enough to recognize it wasn't a bird, c) is super good excited about this. (Me too: Go lil bat! Eat all the bugs! ...I literally just got a mosquito bite arg.)

More people need to point out more loudly that Abebooks is Amazon, every time I see it mentioned other people seem to be finding out for the first time.
