Calling you "Trumpian" is hilarious 😂. These people are so unhinged.

I really like the tree'd medians through Pioneer Square and 8th Ave in Ballard. More tree'd medians + parking spaces getting turned into trees would make our city such a nicer place to exist in.

This is awesome to see. I remember when N Division was a gross, forgotten thoroughfare. Can't wait to see it's future unfold with better visionaries.

How far north and south will this redesign encompass?

Interesting, I always thought it was the other way around.

Cannot wait for parking reform from @jessdbateman.bsky.social so half their complaints we don't even have to worry about.

How much of this is down to building codes that favor studios (i.e. double loaded corridors) vs single-stair buildings, and not simply a market desire for more studios?

Ryan, do you have an idea what cities would be able to opt out of the HAA? Spokane is the only true housing first city I can think of.

I can't figure why developers don't start their own religious orgs to prevent this. What's the burden of proof that a religion is "real"?

Was the audio bad on other platforms? I couldn’t hear Mark or Sandeep on Apple Podcasts

We’re the greatest country the world has ever known and it’s not even close. We’re gonna unelect the clown, fix the Dem party, and go back to being fucking awesome.

Dan, do you know if this bill would allow existing landmarks to be un-landmarked if the building was landmarked while the current owner owned the building?

Are you saying remove all NCs from the city or just the new ones proposed in the comp plan?

How much of that gdp is from easy interstate relations? Brexit was a disaster for this very reason.

I'm surprised a good samaritan hasn't already gone and opened the fences at night. It's outrageous that the park is closed because PP MHC has a power fantasy over everyone else in the city.

I’m sure burger master could still lease a space once the development is complete. That said, it would be incredibly short sighted for the developer to purpose build for them - that makes it much harder for another restaurant to go in if BM ever fails

I've wondered that for a while. Maybe because the dome is significantly smaller/shorter there's less surface area and space for the sound to bounce around? Or maybe it's equally as punishing?

Ugh, Pioneer Square is awful. Anytime I'm there and don't have headphones on is so unpleasant. I don't know how they work around the echos though - the domed ceiling and hard surfaces cannot be easy from an audio engineering standpoint.

Doesn’t sound like it echos as badly either? Maybe that’s just my phone speaker giving that impression
