Also other comment is this slip lane is solely on the agency in charge of the road requiring it to fit a semi most likely, requiring the slip lanes so the semi can make the turn with the skew of the intersection. Banning right turns by trucks would allow for getting rid of the slip lane.

This is wild because the LRT project I worked on we were actively taking lanes away all over the place on the arterial the project was on and along side streets as well. We got rid of 7 turn lanes on the arterial and 4 through lanes on side streets in the 1.5 mile segment I worked on.

Like a separate signal for the slip lane?? And if so doesn't that add another set of APS audible/tactile button boxes?! How does this make any sense.
