โ€œ Most of this realmโ€™s population have some measure of magical aptitude. That is quite a downside of coming from other worlds, yes. Luckily, you have me.~ โ€ Sigyn would allow the door to shut once Tsuki exited, locking it behind her before they continued onwards, out of the tavern and โ€”>

Sleeping on that wooden floorboard was starting to set in. โ€œ To the market square, then! I do have some errands myself, but thatโ€™ll have to wait. I am quite famished after all that time, real food sounds too good. โ€ The Dragonborn stepped towards the doorway, โ€œ After you, deary. โ€

โ€œ Iโ€™m not sure if youโ€™re familiar with inventions of this world, compared so some advanced places Iโ€™ve been too. . . The oven itself is lit with fire starters, usually flint. For us, well, me. . . Magic users, we just use fire bolts. โ€ Sigyn sat up, rubbing her back with a quiet groan. โ€”>

nicely finished wood table just under the only window of the room, adjacent to the stone oven, with two similar wooden chairs. It smelled of pine, thatโ€™s for sure. โ€œ Ah, โ€ she exclaimed as she dropped her back, falling onto the cotton bed, โ€œ it feels wonderful to actually have a real bed. โ€

โ€œ That better be a bloody good promise. โ€ Sigyn liked this one. Enthusiastic, upbeat. Frankly, it already put a smile on her face. A soft hum, โ€œ We ought to make good of our morning then. Come along. โ€ Setting the now empty tankard on the bar for the owner, she took the key out of her โ€”>

intrigued on your cooking. I might just learn a thing or two that isnโ€™t curing and eating dried, near tree bark textured meat. โ€ She giggled softly, eyes glancing over at the window to the outside, then at Tsuki. โ€œ Set some stuff down in the room and go shopping, what do you say? โ€

two tankards, one of bitter, foaming ale and the other of steaming cider. Handing the tankard to Tsuki, Sigyn pocketed the key and took a long drink from the tankard, nearly gulping down the whole thing! โ€œ I would say we should get settled in, buuuut we did just wake up, and Iโ€™m quite โ€”>

โ€œ I look forward to it. โ€ She mused quietly, a slight grin tinging her face. As she turned her attention to the bartender, sheโ€™d order a simple apple cider for Tsuki, a simple delicacy, and hot for such weather too! โ€œ I need a good ale after yesterday, โ€ she spoke as she headed up the small stairway and into the tavern. For early morning, it was quite rowdy. However, it seemed most people were instead eating breakfast and chatting away. Sigyn approached a bartender, who stood behind the counter, โ€”>

from humans, elves, dwarves, and Dragonborn much like Sigyn. โ€œ Finally, some civilisation. . . โ€ She sighed in relief. Being out in the middle of nowhere was tiring. Past the merchants and trinket paddlers, Sigyn stopped just at the stairs to a tavern, with an inn on the second floor to boot! โ€”>

perhaps when we figure your situation out, you can show me around. โ€ After a few moments, they finally reached the town at the very bottom of the valley. It was quite large, with a bustling marketplace and busy streets. The cold didnโ€™t stop these townsfolk. Many were of varied races, โ€”>

The Dragonborn listening eagerly; this sounded like a world unlike any other she has traversed. Curious. Controlling forces such as time was something that captured her attention. โ€œ That is quite marvellous, Tsuki. Iโ€™ll have to keep that in mind next time I decide to traverse the realms, โ€”>

The winter storm continued to batter the cabin, only stopping around the very beginning of the dawnโ€™s twilight hours. At this point, much of the fire had reduced itself to glowing cinders, ever so slowly being taken by the coldโ€™s embrace. Sigyn groggily opened her eyes, blinking โ€”>
