~38k words 7 demon-generals 3 authors 2 dread gods and 1 king of the dead, two-thirds god, one-third man As the voting period opens, make sure to check out our entry to Public Domain Contest, Dead King's March, and its latest articles, SLAYER OF WICKEDNESS and The Fruit of Eight Millennia!

it's very fucking rich to me that Murkowski, who is allegedly a moderate R/independent has basically been the most solid yes vote for Trump, and online she pretends to disapprove of the things she voted for. Her voter base is all Dems, and she chooses to act like this. Fucking cowardly

Read Dead King's March! We have: * Gay yearning * Epic prose * Clash of mythical and modern * Socioeconomic analysis of Hell * Gilgamesh in a mech suit (Gilgamech?) * Questions the ethics of kingship * man-on-man wrestling * Hell/America proxy war * fascists getting decapitated * Gilgamech

to all SCP readers out there, you should take a peek at me and Intercedent's new entry in Dead King's March: To Make Meat of Clay. it's good! Check it out!

The root that tears apart your foundation begins as a seed of distrust, hate, and blame. The seed that grew into a dictatorship in Europe didn’t arrive overnight. It started with everyday Germans mad about inflation and looking for someone to blame.

Let's move fast and break stuff, I say

(NYT) - President Trump, furious about delays in delivering two new Air Force One jets, has empowered Elon Musk to explore drastic options to prod Boeing to move faster, including relaxing security clearance standards for some who work on the presidential planes. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/19/u...

"The dwelling of Irkalla, to the house where those who enter do not come out ... where those who dwell, do without light, where dirt is their drink, their food is of clay, where, like a bird, they wear garments of feathers, and light cannot be seen, they dwell in the dark ... there lie dust"

I know it's valentine's day, and that i should be focusing on irl kissing my wife or something, but hot damn reading my teammates entries for Public Domain Con makes me really proud of what we've made, and makes me really excited to see how people react to our work. You're gonna love it.

DONT WANNA SEE TRANS PEOPLE? THEN KILL YOURSELF

This is my favorite picture of Stonewall. They knew they were getting arrested just for being LGBTQ+. Yet... they're still here, standing outside of the boarded up Stonewall Inn, smiling as the world was at a fever pitch of hatred against them. I think about it a lot in moments like this.

Went to church for the first time in almost a year to attend a friend's choir concert, the music was so beautiful I cried during a few movements, and it really felt like a place of god in that moment Unfortunately it was Episcopalian, not Catholic, so I might need to reevaluate some priors

What

the thing is, the blade really does cut both ways, bucko

Honestly, it looks like more people are going to be able to try out real world applications of "Would you have sheltered Jews in Nazi Germany?" sooner than we thought

“You are your gender regardless of what an executive order says” Dude, I’m not upset because I feel ;w; invalid ;w;. I’m upset because I don’t want to be thrown in jail on trumped up charges for being trans, then get v-coded in a men’s prison. A path I increasingly worry we’re headed down

The most powerful words you can say right now to these fascist bastards is: "No, make me." They cannot actually be everywhere and enforce their fascist policies. They rely on fear to do the job of governing for them. By refusing to comply, you make their means of compliance ineffective.

i've been thinking about this tweet a lot lately

Demonia! the witch! (SHE/HER) 🐏🏳️‍⚧️🖤

was talking with some friends about the pseudo-28th amendment, and whether it would be able to actually provide a more rigorous protection for transwomen if enacted, but as written and ratified... eh?

Love how my law school has this fangirl timeline of former Justice Thurgood Marshall in the study area of the library, probably for motivation purposes.
