I don't mind it at all. And i differentiate between the cute, aesthetic pets - that "stay back at camp;" vs the Companion animals they want to heavily train and bring as a "trusted sidekick" by mostly using the sidekick rules. That said, only 1 sidekick from the menagerie can be "active" at a time 🤣

Oh gosh! I forgot to mention, these battlemaps were made with #dungeondraft 👍

I love all frogs, but I think Grungs would be better for this adventure🤣(I believe @strangedruid.bsky.social is the artist that made the image #attribution)

As a forever DM, I suppose my favorite method for handling them is just ... creating them 🤣

omg! the way the path has been overgrown with time, and the statue is "still there" but crumbled. Really Cool! So you can do something timey-wimey with it 10/10

It do be like that sometimes. I believe in you 👍

hmph, made some kind of error in the downscaling, lost more quality than usual D: might delete later, so I can repost higher res. Not sure what I did there...?

🤣one of my groups like to joke about the difference between my "plot hooks" and "plot harpoons" 👍10/10 advice, no notes

aw, don't sell yourself short :D You seem like a true artist to me, whatever methods you use 👍

never occurred to me to use the 1x2 token for a pair up mini 🤣looks amazing!

noice! I'm absolute traaaash with Magik 🤣But it seems like everybody else is great with her. I'm lovin Mr. Fantastic though, great addition to the roster

That's amazing! It's always blown me away when an artist can start working and have the image form as they go, while I feel like I have to have the whole of it in my head before I can even start. 10/10 👍

Any story or inspiration behind the blind woman and the butterflies?

Ahh yes, I remember it well, the day I learned this lesson. My players decided the best course of action was to burrow their way into a stronghold with their shovels and pickaxes. 10/10 no notes 🤣

yis 💯! I like to have 1 or 2 of those details specific to 1 or 2 of the player characters as well. Something that their character specifically notices 👍

Hmm, this is how the artificer casts lightning lure. Or… infiltrator armorer’s lightning launcher 👍

imo: you haven’t really buffed the creature. It swims instead of climbs, and breathes in its normal environment. No adjustments needed “for balance”

🤣😅can’t figure out how to post the animated gif… maybe another day when I’m at home haha!

The change from 2D to 3D in panel two to three is breaking my brain in all the best ways 😱😍👍

Oh for sure! I just love a good "environmental effect" in the turn order to spice up a battle 🤣

Awesome! And is it like... on init count "X" you and your cart move 60ft... Or can the players control the cart movement? Ohhh, or maybe like, init count 20, 15, and 10... the cart moves 20ft. So it moves 60ft. over the round, but stuff is all happening while it's moving? that could be fun <3

just... wow! very cool, and looks amazing. What are your thoughts on the mechanics of it? just curious

Legend definitely set me on the path of loving fantasy in my formative years. Other big influences for me would be; The adventures of Baron Munchausen, Wizards, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Willow, The Never Ending Story... and so many more 🤣

This movie really snuck up on me, absolutely loved it :D

This cave map was one of the first times I, very intentionally, kept the corridors 10ft. wide. I love a narrow corridor as much as the next guy, but it sure did make for a much smoother time maneuvering players and monsters in battle 🤣

"Tinker Tablets" - somewhat small, polished, stones. Imbued with the magic of illusory script. Allows a person to "tink" up to 140 characters of text, and share it with all their followers on "tinker." If the heroes aid the creator, it gets enhanced for direct message and Selfie capabilities 🤣

hmm, ❤️ Jeff, but Thor is really growing on me 🤣
