the whole congratulating Dems for cursing thing is so embarrassing. one of the dumbest ways yet invented to engage politically

AOC is the future of the Democratic party and the future of the country. It's been obvious for a long time

I am a commissioner at the Federal Trade Commission. Earlier today, the president attempted to illegally fire me. This is corruption, plain and simple. I will see the president in court. My full statement:

Mahmoud Khalil writing from a Louisiana detention center: "I have always believed that my duty is not only to liberate myself from the oppressor, but also to liberate my oppressors from their hatred and fear."

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House. We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication. They own what happens next.

A Hmong American woman who has lived in the Milwaukee area since she was 8 months old was deported last week to Laos, a country she has never visited, and says she is stranded in a rooming house surrounded by military guards. www.jsonline.com/story/news/l...

This was earlier today. Just now, DOJ has ordered the prosecution of Adams to be dropped

there's something to this thought, but I suspect what congressional leaders would need to do that is mass mobilization from public. strength in numbers is true for Congresspeople too

No one elected Elon Musk. As Donald Trump allows Musk to access people’s personal information and shut down government funding, Republicans in Washington will also own the consequences. We must do everything in our power to push back and protect people from harm.

i can see how you would come to this conclusion if your job didn't require you to ever be correct

At this point this kind of centrist finger pointing at left is just utterly unconvincing. Centrist Dems hid (1) Biden's obviously diminished condition from the American people until it was far to late and

Love the charts. I wish people were more curious about why people's lived reality doesn't match up with the charts, because nothing is more frustrating to poor people than feeling like they're being gaslit by exasperated Democrats

lost a great one over the weekend open.spotify.com/track/7jWbXv...

See if you’re not a healthcare company and you do this they call it “kidnapping”

we should also take a minute to reflect on the fact that @washingtonpost.com put a communication from the president of the United States to the American people behind a paywall

Scientists say we basically have an HIV vaccine, but Gilead is charging over $40,000 a year for it and won’t yet allow a generic version that could be made for as little as $40 (which still includes a 30% profit).
