You think the GOP and trump are going to allow elections.
comment in response to

If they can get only 3 GOP from the house to leave the dark side they can legislate to stop Musk.

You’re absolutely correct, my point was directed to NPR as being so soft spoken in its delivery of news to try to not hurt anyone’s feelings. I do listen to NPR but sometimes I just change the channel because the info is so light.

You don’t believe someone with almost 400 billion dollars shouldn’t be financing his own space program just so he can visit a barren planet?
comment in response to

Yes, I’m all in and have been for decades. But the alternative media is the primarily the answer, The Nation, The New Republic, The progressive and others and now TruthOut, MeidasTouch. To me NPR is too mushy not hard hitting enough.

There is a very commonsensical and just way to add another option (3), return the tax code to pre Reagan era changes and tadaa! Problem fixed no more billionaires! and more money to support our economy.

Dems have always been since Clinton republican light. They have and still do emulate the GOP. Schumer is a schmuck and Hakeem always denigrates the progressives whenever he can. Some of them even now are voting for trumps nominees.

Why are the federal judges not looking to the federal Marshall’s to enforce their rulings. I know they fall under the DOJ but they ultimately take an oath to defend the constitution, not the executive branch.

Will one of the federal judges who told musk to desist just send some DC cops over to arrest him. Please.
comment in response to
post
I’m dumbfounded there weren’t stricter safeguards in place to keep one branch especially the executive from overriding any and all security since it’s the other 2 that really have the power here, or should have at least the keys.

You must be joking, he’s been showing us for decades if you’ve been paying attention he is a blathering buffoon.

We can thank Sinema and Manchin for that. For not dismantling the filibuster so the voter rights bill to pass.

Local police, federal Marshall’s, in watergate DC police arrested the burglars. My main point is this loophole to let someone from the executive branch in is wrongheaded in a supposedly 3 branch gov’t.

Same chance a snowball has in hell.

Why musk wasn’t instantly arrested when he gained access (similar to watergate) to the federal buildings will forever baffle me. We are protected by weapons and armies externally that cost trillions of dollars but the doors aren’t locked for entry by a citizen who wants to download data.
comment in response to

The only thing that has surprised me these last 3 weeks is how easy it was for musk to enter all the federal buildings and download data.

Trump is just the shiny object jumping around getting everyone’s attention while musk dismantles all the checks and balances so the billionaires cartel can run things.

George W is already a war criminal, worse than Netanyahu because of Iraq. He’s hardly a moral voice.

Republicans are in deep with the current autogolpe taking place. It’s a complete takeover after an election giving total control to our dear leader usurping all legislative operations.
comment in response to

Please stop being analytical about this, this is a coup.
comment in response to

Yes indeed, we are now in an Autogolpe!
comment in response to

Why don’t they just call the cops. When the watergate burglars broke in to the dems headquarters the guards called the cops. Why can’t the guards call the cops when musk “comes a knockin.”
comment in response to

Then deport him.

Ro Khanna is actually a good guy, but he and other dems need to stop being naive good but smart and tough good. When will they wake up is still up in the air.
comment in response to

How anyone thought they could actually work with Doge thinking Doge had legitimate goals is stunning to me.
comment in response to
post
There must be a reckoning here, musk and the new chief of staff, bessent MUST be held accountable here. musk must be in jail then deported and bessent must be impeached.
comment in response to

All this has been going on since Reagan. Ever since he lowered the tax rate thereby creating many more billionaires, then the Supreme Court said it’s ok to give shitloads of money to politicians over twenty years ago here we are.
comment in response to

That’s why Netanyahu is giddy, but don’t believe trump, this is another deflection from the real and current danger, that prick musk who is gathering all the data he can from Americans.
comment in response to

Netanyahu is a right wing criminal convicted of war crimes in Gaza by the world court. He and his right wing buddies have been trying to push all Palestinians off their land since 1948. Now here comes trump saving him billions in reconstruction of Gaza.

No democrat should vote for any republican nominee for any post position. They will all lie like Pam Bondi. This means you Ruben Gallego of Arizona.

Yes, the houthis and the newer resurgent hamas are salivating to make US servicemen and women targets.

So he says, the first American to fall because of this would be his immediate downfall, regardless of what the dems do or don’t do. We know his words are just noise. Oh, didn’t he once grunt he’s against war.

I think this Gaza announcement is another ruse to get our attention away from the other insidious and hurtful things trumps doing with musk, the immigrant afrikaner is far more dangerous at the moment. Gaza so far is words musk now has access to stuff he shouldn’t have.
comment in response to
post
It is a cruel and entirely illegal act by an Afrikaner immigrant who still hates poor brown people. Why federal Marshall’s don’t arrest him in spite of the president is beyond me.
comment in response to

It’s up to you Chuck, and the other democrats. There’s no posse coming to save us.
comment in response to

It was only a diversion from the other stuff his sugar daddy was doing with the Treasury.
comment in response to

Can the democrats use federal Marshall’s to enforce federal law’s, like the accessing of federal buildings by an immigrant tech bro?
comment in response to

I am simply amazed at the lack of insight from congress, who controls the gov’t’s finances, didn’t lock the back door from the executive branch.
comment in response to

Billionaires have only two goals here. To own everything and control everything and keep you down so they can continue to own and control everything.
comment in response to

It’s right on cue to allow the billionaires to come up from behind and buy up the remains that occur from a recession.

The dems think he does actually have a mandate, they aren’t up to speed on the removal of voters from the voter rolls, he only won by 1.4 percent or that he only won with 23 percent of the actual total voters.
comment in response to

Trump is the poster child, the real cause of all of this is the billionaires who funded him and made him our dear leader.

Yes, don’t forget as we watch this behind the curtain, in his exec. Actions he has permitted massive new forest logging, eliminated many EPA monitoring of forever chemicals and much much more.
