Thanks! This has to be the definitive last word on this subject. Those who demanded higher grade research have got it now. If only the AGP nonsense would go full sessional RPE would become the norm outside ICUs where most care occurs.

Let’s see if Streeting’s culling of NHSE includes IPC leads. It should do.

But those in charge of UK IPC guidance still in 19th century. @nhsengland.bsky.social

Still no response to CATA’s letter to 4 CNOs after nearly 4/12 and a question in HoL.

So who will replace him? But still same old faces to advise on IPC.

The “Big Lie” goes on - that C-19 and other respiratory viruses are not airborne transmitted(they are!) and RPE masks don’t work(they do!). It’s illegal and immoral for government to continue this charade. CATA continues to campaign for the truth.

Healthcare employers have argued that they don’t know how to make FFP3 masks effective in practice, so they want to use surgical masks instead. Sadly, the Inquiry has effectively elected to remain silent about continued breaches of the law until it reports on module 3 sometime in 2026. /Ends

COSHH Regulation 6 requires that any assessment of risk from biological agents MUST take account of transmission routes and, in turn, inform decisions about the need for RPE. Such assessments must be revised in the event that new information about transmission routes comes to light.

COSHH, and associated Approved Code of Practice requires RPE to protect against ALL routes of transmission - especially when the hazardous agent is “airborne”. Whether or not ‘PREDOMINENTLY airborne’ as mistakenly believed by some of the less competent witnesses during module 3

History may come to view this as the most egregious act of disregard for 'right to life’ perpetrated upon its workforce in the history of NHS. (right to life within the meaning of Article 2, Human Rights Act)

The Inquiry's Legal Team promptly responded with a short email stating that they will not enter into any further correspondence on this matter. So that, as they say, is that!

CATA’s Executive Team has therefore written to the Chair, seeking clarification on points set out in Baroness Hallett’s ruling: Page 1 of 4

The outcome of a request by CATA (Covid-19 Airborne Transmission Alliance) and other core participants for the Inquiry Chair to make urgent recommendations for changes to IPC guidance, based on the science heard during weeks of the Inquiry: www.covid19.public-inquiry.uk/documents/ru...

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 COVID INQUIRY UNABLE TO RULE THAT FFP3 RESPIRATORS PROTECT BETTER THAN SURGICAL MASKS!

What exactly has the Minister said he would do about updating IPC guidance? And what is an informed review? If it involves Ritchie it will be a waste of time.
