Yeah you can see the spike hit his ankle, hopefully Gasper will be OK soon. Twins really running out of 40 man bats at this point.
Only Kiersey & Camargo left.

I read a lot of their newspaper published in the 20s in MN for a research paper and it was fascinating how “modern” their talking points felt. At the time I couldn’t help but relate it to the tea party which was rising at the time.
Their “peaceful gatherings” being attacked was a running theme.

Yeah that’s my read. You don’t sign a guy to a 3 year deal like that expecting to not use him.

I think he’s a guy where projections miss because they’re trying to control for injuries.
TON will be an everyday player when healthy, and his PAs will be a reflection of his health.
If you buy a healthy season that total is low, if you don’t buy his health that PA is high.

I don’t think it’s an advantage so great that it needs to be corrected. You’re taking on essentially double the injury risk as a trade off.
Yes in daily lineups it takes the thought out of the #1 pick, but it’s not some guaranteed win.

I mean he’s the clear #1 player in real life too.

I was with you until the both stats at once part. We shouldn’t put a penalty on say Willi Castro for pitching in a blowout unless somebody put Castro in a pitching slot.

Tbh the issue is split Ohtani.
IMO treating Ohtani as a single player you can use at pitcher or hitter is best. In a hitter slot you get his batting stats, in a pitcher slot you get his pitching stats.

I really hope the Twins put in a claim.

What do you think of pocket aces this year? Based on current fantasy pros adp you could likely get your pick of the aces at the end of a 12t draft, or even a 15 depending on how the room goes.

Socrates was vilified in his time as well.

My guess is the Twins want to make Miranda/Julien earn 1b… and tbh if they can’t I guess it’s a good signing.

They’re all so disinterested they’re taking 5 minute penalties to avoid working

Does he have the arm/range to field 3b anymore? With the Twins they moved him off SS because of the arm, and based on his savant numbers I don’t think he’s gotten better.

118 & 117 WRC+ in 22 & 23 aren't clunkers. He was battling injuries most of last year and still managed a 92.
Again, it's fair to worry about health & decline, but it's too early to completely write him off imo.

When Jorge is able to stay on the field he's absolutely a quality bat. The point still stands about wanting more, but lumping in Polanco with guys like Solano, Shenton, etc is a bit much.

Oh I'm sorry, are you crying? Are you crying because your plagiarism machine that made stuff by copying everybody's stuff was used to train another machine that made stuff by copying stuff? Are you going to cry? Cowards, losers, pathetic
