When i tried out riding a bike in Amsterdam you have to ride&even 'park' differently than in my hometown. It is more strict but also more convenient so you follow the rules automatically.

I think cyclists breaking more traffic laws is negible when those laws are mainly made because of motorised traffic. Simply because it's way harder to injure, let alone kill someone by bike.
So statistically you have less deaths in traffic the more people switch from car to bike.

Didn't reply to you, but to Luciana. I agree that with making and releasing new music getting easier the overall quality can get mudded. But it also allows for new and experimental ideas to thrive and i'm happy that there are some good reviewers out there who make navigating easier.

what the hell are you talking about? 2024 alone was amazing for music. Look at those album line up: GNX, Imaginary Disc, BRAT, The new Sound, You won't go before you're supposed to and my beloved Diamond Jubilee. And even if you don't like any of those there is so much more to explore.

didn't have space anymore. If there are more bikers with proper implementation you would probably see less dicks. there could be enforcment and dedicated paths, beause they wouldn't be the outlier.

sadly i've never been to the states. Your cities are build different with cars beeing the main transport system. Cyclists are only 1% of the traffic, which is a lot for america, but in my city we have 10%. With your smog problem you should really get more people to bike, LA would be dense enough.

Why would a bike attract more assholes than a car? Behaviour on the streets is a result of planning and enforcment. I don't know where you're from so it's hard for me to go into detail.
Here in Austria we got several new bike lanes which made the road safer for petestrians, cyclists and cars.

Don't pretend like i'm agreeing with you.
It's the duty of the juristicion you're living in to respond to the need of cycling. And yes doing cycling as a sport is a need and as a lawmaker you can't really differentiate anyway. Now you can either outlaw cycling or just adabt the system for them.

could be because a lot of street systems aren't designed for bikes and have to be adapted. For example in my city there cqrs have 'green waves' with traffic lights. For cyclists this results in having to wait at every single traffic light. Also cyclists are waaay less dangerous than cars.

it's totally valid to usethe road for that purpose. Just like it's valid that you go on a road trip or take your motor bike for a mountain ride. You could advocate for a bike path, even if it's sole puprose is for sports/getting out into nature. with the right planning this isn't a problem.

isn't he just saying that he wants to have the condidence of a cyclist because with their low speed they have to deal with a lot of shit in traffic? He could have used a tractor or horse carriage but that would be less relatable.
It's like my friends don't go biking because the cars stress them.

Voll, ich hatte auch Momente wo ich in andere Bubbles gekommen bin und schockiert wurde. Zum Beispiel in der Arbeit beim Bau oder im Heer. Der originale tweet ist halt so vage generalisierend, dass er zu viele Leute in nen Topf wirft. Würd gern wissen wo sie herkommt.
