Welcome to what the global south felt from WWII up until now. How do you like it?

That type of thinking is bullshit. Putting the blame on some shadowy puppet master and excluding it from the people who actually voted him in and the pathetic dems who make it way easier both times

Vincent, thanks for writing this book. finished it yest(after starting it before in 2021 but I was getting too angry all the time about what was happening on it so I had to stop) Excellent book, and also inspiring. Now I want to do some digging into videogames treating these "historical events"

cierto, pero tb seria injusto decir q es una novedad, antes acabamos viendo montones de peliculas gracias a los ciclos de cajastur....ahora...pues no se que hay que haya tomado el relevo?

Wow, there are more of you! How do you see this world and somehow not recognise it is all the west fault? Is this a glitch in your brain?

You two should read the jakarta method before displaying publicly your absolute lack of knowledge and centrist privilege (also known as "vacant heads syndrome")

Starmer's britain! (It would be the same with the hated tories, but really I'd do anything to blame shit on Starmer and Streeting)

their name was taken from this Tango Lunfardo that narrates the murder of a woman at his partner's hands in a so called "crime of passion" www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJG_...

Originally named 34 puñaladas (34 stabs) they changed it to Bombay.Bs.As in 2019 because they felt their original name was tied to sexist and violent roots that needed shedding after 21 years with it. web.archive.org/web/20190710...

every time I listen to anything Tango I end up back in 34 puñaladas / Bombay.Bs.As street www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbA9...

Hugo Rifkind is one of the shittiest persons in the UK so this is very much his thing (this is a very very hard competition on the columnist side but he has game for it)

All reviews I've seen for this have been calling it a "minor work" compared to the previous movies. Which is more or less what I saw already with The Master Gardner, interesting to see a different POV which makes me more excited to catch this film

ah of course, not putting it down because of it. That is why I am reading it, it is interesting even when I disagree with some things. Mostly I would like more explanations of some of the opinions he gives about authors where she does present the idea but doesn't give enough examples

thanks. I am finding the book interesting but there are some areas that lose me a lot (or are a bit outdated by now), and as an European her vision of Europe is a bit....not great

I'm currently reading Molly Haskel's "from Reverence to Rape" and I'd love to hear your take on it, if you read it oc...also I'd be super grateful if you know of any resource discussing that book!

no reason for it not to hold up, if anything it is even more topical each day it passes
