This liberal mermaid loves a good book, nature, history, dogs and taking a walk. My passion was sea glass collecting but I’ve moved far away from the salt air. Now enjoying family, new interests and friends in the winter of my life….

From another Grandma: I miss him too. He was way ahead of his time on many issues. George Carlin’s insight and relevancy continues.

Donald Trump Jr talked his father into choosing the spineless, arrogant, hypocritical JD Vance.

He is paying El Salvador 6 million of our tax payer dollars for one year of services. Insanity!

Unfortunately it’s not a filibuster because he’s not blocking legislation or nominations.Lawmakers had concluded their voting on Mon, but depending on how long he can talk it might disrupt the Senate’s business on Tues. What Cory Booker is doing is extraordinary.

Even Nazis war criminals were given due process of the law at the Nuremberg Trials. A Ct. Lawyer who later became a US Senator served as Executive Trial Counsel.

The worst of the earthquake was in an area of resistance with a million and a half impoverished people. Many were trying to dig out survivors with their hands. In 2021 the military junta seized power and built a compound far away from the severe damage. They continued bombing the rescuers.

I’ve always loved this when my grandkids used to watch it. My kids were brought up with Fred Roger’s show.

Agreed but I still love their Clydesdales.

I remember Coors boycotts in the 70’s about organized labor and race discrimination. They even gave polygraph tests for employment.

There wouldn’t be a Heritage Foundation without Joseph Coors.

superscammer, a particularly nasty troll, took my late night, not well thought out, disparaging post on a public Meta group and posted to my feed. I’m a rookie at this stuff but finally blocked her. I really wish we could delete or edit posts.

Jefferson City, Missouri The citizen activists, many of them heretofore strangers, had come together two days after the Missouri House passed legislation to overturn a voter-approved ballot initiative guaranteeing paid sick leave for workers and cost-of-living increases to the minimum wage.

I live in Missouri and I certainly did not vote for them!

I hope they actually do get paid.

Oh how I wish this could happen!! Unfortunately plaintiff(s)would have to show concrete examples of how they were harmed by Musk’s actions. All Trump would have to do is say he authorized him.

Under the Computer and Abuse Act of 1986 which Reagan supported it is illegal to have unauthorized access to obtain and distribute other peoples information. The act allows a citizen whose private data has been compromised through a breach of government computers to sue for damages.

Astounded that our country and some state have come to this.

Great job on your sign and showing up. You are amazing! Together we are strong.

In 2010 a tragic turning point in the US occurred when the Supreme Court allowed all their money in. I don’t believe our founders ever meant for corporations and billionaires to control our country.

Fantastic! If we boycott the goods together we can make a difference.

To all who are cheering for this: Your lack of empathy is astounding. Many people will die by the hands of Trump in an unprecedented humanitarian disaster. This aid also helps keep our country safe. Stealing from “We The People” gives China the opportunity to step in.
