Unsure what you mean. If critical ? it is, self evidently, something that is now in the local press with Councillors and residents association agitating. Until then we kept quiet

No they still need to go back to Council for sign off. Expect there have been many cases where % age of objectors is high. See LTNs in London where taken to High Court and rolled back as "ignored residents' concerns about......."

Needs more context - Older people are more vulnerable in a crash eg head injuries. ( same as when cycling or walking) Older people drive fewer miles than other drivers . Have higher crashes per mile as much is local and not on motorways.

Very aware of LTN 1/20 ( and where more relevant CD195). We know what they should build but @eastsussexcc.bsky.social very rarely do so

Yes the 'rail' is also too close to the wall for those with panniers. The message was they do not have them at 2 crossings at #HampdenPark ( one of the busiest level crossings in Europe)

Correct. Local LCWIP has possible joined up routes along the edges of these estates but developers do not want them.

Outside of the large cities most of the new housing estates are LTN-like. There are 5 estates 'back to back' (here) where you go out to the main road to enter another estate. For us 10* the issue that the post-Covid LTNs are. Yet for anti-LTNers they are not an issue nor are pre-Covid ones.

Yep, because "some in London" are thought to be "dangerous" ones like this floating bus stop would never be built. It's in Moulsecoomb, whose Baroness said those words supporting the terrible amendment. The FBS has helped make it significantly less dangerous for people who'd like to cycle.
