Hey, do you know much about the history of the Black Panther party in particular how it engaged young people through its curriculum? How did Black Panther schools teach the kids how to fight fascism?

I agree. But I also think if ppl need political opposition to harness something so obviously odious and out of bounds, rather than already recognizing how terrible it was and acting accordingly, we're basically already screwed.

Certainty chokes out some of the best things religion has to offer. Humility being a big one.

I'm having a hard time not thinking the consultants bear a TON of responsibility for Harris losing the election. Why would leadership still listen to them?

Where are you seeing this chatter? I loved Maggie Smith's. Interviewed her on my podcast. episodes.fm/1693024809/e... Got two other divorce episodes so far as well.

You mean Cat Bohannon, but that's not a divorce book. It's still really good though. I interviewed her about it. episodes.fm/1693024809/e...

It's another messaging bill from the Utah legislature, and the message is: Trans people aren't wanted here. Enough.
comment in response to post
What if somebody's sincerely held religious or moral belief (she seeks to protect both) is that people who think their religion or morals demand misgendering others are deeply misguided, and that the moral way to respond to them is to flip them off? Is that type of speech going to be protected?
comment in response to post
Meanwhile, Peck can't cite a single example of a Utah teacher being disciplined for misgendering anyone. School districts report they have no policies requiring such discipline. The purpose of the bill is to legalize bullying of students under the guise of religious freedom.

It's in line with their general "we think marginalized people can go fly a kite" platform

One problem seems to be that the hypocrites actually LOVE the hypocrisy. Because it's really a show of power. So focusing on their hypocrisy just seems to reinforce their power. They love it.

What in the world could it mean to be hostile to most self-improvement cultures ๐Ÿ˜‚ oh Ezra
