First few times it took him a while to understand that the door wasn't jammed, just opposite to the direction he tried to open it.

It became a running gag in the campaign that anytime we went up to a door my brother would ask, "You grab the doorhandle, do you push or pull the door?" ... "Pull!" ... "It seems like it's stuck."

In a campaign my brother was running for our friends and I, my friend Bryan rolled a fighter with the most abyssmal intelligence ever.

Oooh, I love my Keychron. Best keyboard I ever owned. And I went for the 96% to save desk space, and I couldn't be happier.

"I told you once that I was searching for the nature of evil. I think I’ve come close to defining it: a lack of empathy. It’s the one characteristic that connects all the defendants. A genuine incapacity to feel with their fellow man. Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy." - G.M. Gilbert

Man that looks like it's straight out of a 60's sci-fi movie.

Platforming is a gamer's gauge for age. If you feel yourself slipping off that ledge, you're getting old.

I dislike Disney because it's been putting our cultural heritage behind a paywall for almost a century now. I also dislike them because they are practicing Capitalist Necromancy by using Nostalgia as merchandise rather than risking creating something new and original.

They won't. It has nothing to do with appreciating what the service does. All it has to do with is their overlords telling them it's bad. Even if they have to drown because it's gone.

Working as a PC tech in that era I always hated those LED speed displays. They were hand-set with a huge jumper bank in the back. And when we upgraded someone's CPU we had to explain to him why his two digit LED display didn't reflect the speed of the 133mhz processor we just put in his computer...

I was unaware of this series when it was released. Upon learning of it recently it was quickly added to my back-log of must-play games.
Right now I am working my way through more obscure SSI games, but I'll eventually get to it...

I've been revisiting a lot of stuff from the 1970s and a bit from the 1960s. It seems to be one of the eras I missed out the most on, movie-wise. Like I just recently finished the Robert Altman collection... So much good stuff from that era.

I mean, it's cool and all... It'd be hard to convince me that Musk didn't know that he'd be sacrificing the reputation of his car manufacturer to do what he is currently doing... He wants our government's rocket money. He doesn't care that he'd be giving up his car company's reputation.

I started 'modeming' around the 300 'baud' era. As a child in the 80s with undiagnosed ADHD and Autism, Bulletin Board Systems opened a whole new world to me. I was able to communicate in a way that was more comfortable to me... But I'd *never* consider giving up what it's become to go back to it.

I think ol' Walt knew that the Werewolves, Vampires, Haunted Houses, and zombie hordes if they had been a thing back then, are all just manifestations of our fears of ourselves and each other.

Any time someone mentions MySpace, I *kinda* miss it. And any time I *kinda* miss it, I *kinda* feel a bit dirty.

If this is in reaction to the Jubilee debacle... I'd have a hard time debating the idiocy and brazen outspoken fascism he was exposed to on that show. Some of those guests sounded like they were picked specifically to throw him off. Not that I'm a fan to begin with... but it stunk of an ambush.

Depends on the game. Some lend themselves well to just jumping back in. Some re-require you to go through the learning curve again by starting from the beginning of the game. Some it's just fun to start from the beginning.
