Comment from OP: Could it be the 2 most powerful men in the administration are both draft avoiders? Trump had "bone spurs" & Musk migrated to Canada to avoid the draft in South Africa that existed at the time. Interestingly the draft in S Africa only applied to white men. Many veterans fell for it.
