Thank you, that needs to be said because it's far more accurate

Wondering if women or minority trump voters have come to grips with the fact that they're going to be blamed for every bad thing that happens for the next 4 years. Apparently the only thing they're qualified to do is cast a vote for trump.

It's cute that the broke, future state prisoner says he's no longer going to tolerate the multi billionaire who bought himself half the presidency. Maybe he can complain to Trump, assuming he'll accept his collect calls from prison.

He's coming across as a scared billionaire influencer approaching the end of relevancy. His Apple comments are clearly projection. I rarely use FB anymore but I've noticed there are zero political posts on my feed now. Maybe that explains his desperation?

Let's not get over our skiis with this. We justifiably spent the last two years hammering SCOTUS for covering for Trump. Roberts and Coney Barrett threw us a bone Thursday night and right on cue we're all praising the justice system for working. Nice plan they hatched, but no thanks.

Credit to Alvin Bragg and his team. Remember when everyone said this case was a mistake and/or a waste of time? Now it's all we have, but at least it's something. Now we get to spend the next four years reminding "Convicted Felon Donald Trump" of his permanent name change.

Seems clear now this would've been the same outcome of Smith's amended Jan 6th indictment if not for Trump winning reelection.
comment in response to post
This is sad because it shows that with Jack Smith's amended indictment, Trump would've ultimately been convicted on the Jan 6th charges. Coney Barrett provided Smith with the roadmap to conviction, and if not for the election Trump would be toast. What a damn shame.

Seems that people can't remember back 4+ years. We will learned he was full of shit but apparently we forgot. His bluster will be worse this time because he's more cognitively impaired but he's still 100% full of shit. We'll relearn that lesson soon

Except that: The rule of law < Alito's whims No sense in pretending here.

Did Soon-Shiong write this for you? By critical coverage do you mean blaming the mayor for a regional climate change induced catastrophe?

Rick Caruso's mall in the Palisades almost burned so of course he's blaming Karen Bass, who beat him in the last election. I'd like to see billboards all over the city comparing him to the looters who slink in after a disaster to take advantage for personal gain. A wealthy, entitled looter.

Hey Marge, good luck with the DC federal court system.

Ironic how the right is winning the social media messaging war via the same platforms created by Dem-dominated tech firms. The left's entire messaging platform is still built around policy discussions on MSM outlets that are becoming increasingly irrelevant. This needs to change.

As a resident of a wealthy coastal state whose tax dollars are used to prop up these piss poor rural counties across the nation, I wouldn't care right now if he did cut their benefits. Sometimes life needs to teach you a harsh lesson

Can we assume that Loomer got the boot from M-a-L??

They'll be laughed out of Federal D.C. court in no time. It'll be fun to watch them embarrass themselves.

Yeah but those slightly elevated egg prices were awful

I assume he withdrew when he found out Chris Hansen would be at the confirmation hearing

Just stop it. We don't need to pretend this clown has any intention of following through with any of this. The only thing more embarrassing than what he says is the endless coverage of him saying it.

That's an insulting thing to say about President Trusk

And gluttons for punishment

I fear this will be another inevitable case where the far right wins the messaging war and changes the narrative - as they usually do. This was on full display in the wake of the Luigi Mangione arrest.

It's pathetic that it only took 4 years to forget this happened the first time.
comment in response to post
Yes, that might explain it 🤣

Something tells me the Des Moines Register won't be rolling over like the cowards at ABC/Disney. Trump thinks he's on a roll but he better put aside some $$ for attorney fees.

It's everything you need to know about how we end up electing someone like Trump. We're a nation prone to hysteria, be it egg prices, vaccines, masks, or drones. We can't be just a party of policies. Average voters are terrified of everything. Dems need to find a way to work with that simple fact

It's the quid pro quo for 40+ years of transferring America's wealth to the upper class. Trump is reminding them that the bill is finally due. At least it's now in the open for the rest of us to choke on. But damn, if only those eggs weren't so expensive.
comment in response to post
That's why we need to spend the next 4 years highlighting every one of his failures. His supporters expect him to deliver on his promises. Let's make sure they choke on his incompetence.

Don't celebrate yet, Sam Alito's already workshopping ideas on how to get him out of this.

You do understand that respecting the rights of gun owners means you're also saying that 84 school shootings this year are just the unfortunate price we have to pay, right? Oh, and by gun owners that's only about 30% of Americans. Maybe write a scary story about that.
