And he has Lord Farquart’s little legs

I really want it to work out for him - perhaps our new medical team can sort him out

And I suspect Richi is on his way in the summer in favour of a new striker

It feels like the writers don’t understand what makes Captain America interesting. It wasn’t the shield. They’ve basically demoted Captain America’s powers to that of Daredevil, Punisher or the Iron Fist but left with world level problems Maybe they should have given Falcon some super serum too?

It is a lot to go from not many minutes this season in the Bundesliga straight into 90mins a week in the prem. Usually a player would train with us for a few weeks before becoming a starter. Looks very promising so far but agree is yet to get used to the tempo

Sky announced that Arsenal have an ‘attacker injury crisis’ before the game yesterday. They have four out. We are considered to be out the other side of our injury issues apparently and we still have three attackers out AND our 1st choice CB pairing

He would bring in US sponsorship dollars though

I wonder if that’s why we did that deal for Cordoba at Betis

No doubt his role as CB will be teaching him about sniffing out threats.

(I was mainly joking tbf)

One season wonder?

Not quite yet - I’m thinking a Wilson Palacios or Eric Dier when Poch converted him to DM

Midfield does need some depth - particularly a midfield monster who makes us safe if we lose possession

Don’t forget Chelsea lost

Then their fans still did a chant calling him a c*nt towards the end of the game because he didn’t stop play for their player headbutting our player in the back of the head and it lead to a goal

I don’t think so - he’s an Argentinian World Cup winning CB - very marketable for both clubs

I think we could get £80m

I wonder if he’s the replacement for Cuti when he goes to Real this summer
comment in response to post
… until he makes a mistake that leads to a goal and spurs twitter decide they want to sell him

He’s a modern day Theo Walcott
comment in response to post
If there’s no pressure on him to perform he will be excellent.

I don’t see Amorim making it to the end of the season. There’s supposed to have been a new manager bounce not a new-manager-lie-down-&-give-up!

So quick, good distribution, great with both feet but scared stiff of playing football it would seem

Werner is such a nice guy I really want it to happen for him. Clearly a talent but his confidence level holds him back

Big 6 not top 6
comment in response to post
Spurs are the only club in the top 6 without any US or state ownership as far as I can make out

I wouldn’t rule out external forces wanting to buy the club trying to put pressure on Levy to sell

I think there is a feeling spurs are turning a corner and that doesn’t suit a lot of their narratives in the sporting media

I’m hopeful of at least two

It’s worth a watch in full - really inspiring and left me feeling positive. At least until full time today 🤣

The press conference yesterday was a lot more positive than in the past

Hopefully a distant memory. Onwards, and hopefully upwards.

It’s a legal technicality they can’t protect brand rights on an area of a city but they can protect Hotspur and, to an extent, Spurs so they are pointing toward that. It’s a total non story

He absolutely is - he obviously sees the financial opportunities in social media, internet comms and government as greater than Tesla.

Don’t they love him at Real Madrid? I thought they called him their lucky rabbits foot or something because when he played in a final they won?
comment in response to post
‘Difficult’ in this context broadly meant he didn’t bring him on for ten minutes at the end of a game we had already won - he made him wait for meaningful minutes to test his reaction.

Levy is starting to make the right moves on the football side - the signings we have brought in for Ange have been good. Paratici, Lange and Munn have been shrewd appointments. The work in bringing in more physio expertise is positive too. It’s frustrating but change takes time.

When in truth we have a shared experience of support and it is madness to rank support on the effort we make to get to games. If I won the lottery tomorrow I would get an executive box and attend every match but I’m not sure a lottery win makes me a better supporter.

I kind of understand the season ticket holder viewpoint. When I was going to every game the commitment felt more - 2 hours of travel before and after the game whatever the weather and the pure emotion of it all felt like it mattered more. But it didn’t make me more of a fan.

I loved the recent retro style legend of Zelda echoes of wisdom game for this exact reason. Also the reason why I grew tired of tears of the kingdom quite quickly
