Those runners don’t stand a chance against the Pekins for pool time. 😆

Rush, Moving Pictures, 1981. I think tickets were 10 bucks so I went twice.

Our trainer recommended a prong collar for Bear, and he immediately knows how to behave when he has it on. You have to buy the right one, though, with blunted ends. I guess the cheapie ones can hurt.

So inspiring! My husband is an artist and musician who set it all aside to make a living. Since retirement his creativity has been on overdrive. I’d love for his work to be recognized one day.

Two years ago they had their nest in the willows around the pond, and after a big storm we lost several limbs and their nest came down WITH THE BABIES. One was injured and we took it to the wildlife rescue, but they said to just leave the other and the mom would care for it and she did!

We have red shouldered hawks, but they nested in the big eucalyptus at the back of the property. But they’ve been here for many years, maybe the babies are sticking around and making their own nests.

What will happen to your non-trans child if they're exposed to trans visibility? They'll grow up knowing that we all deserve to be authentic in our own skin. They'll know that *they* deserve that as much as anyone else. Trans people do have an agenda: we want everyone to feel safe and loved.

You need to get very assertive to get anywhere, and it helps to have that power of attorney to wave in their face. You could also reach out to your local agency on aging (if they haven’t been defunded already) and look for support groups in your area.

We have dealt with this with two of my husband’s family members, and currently my dad. We were the only family for the aunties, and fortunately had medical and financial power of attorney, which was critical.

My husband is the son of two immigrants from Ulster, and he gets incandescent about the fact that American markets don’t carry British bangers so he can have a proper fry.

You haven’t failed. You’ve done the best you could—that’s enough. I will keep reading the rest, but you need to know that no one thinks you’ve failed. ❤️

That was a very moving read.

But then I use whole wheat flour and oil for my pie crust, so that’s a whole other thing.

It would be different, but still great. I’ve made tons of galettes and meat pies with pie crust and I love them, but it’s a bit heavier than puff.

Oh my god I love this recipe! I am a very nervous hostess, and this was a slam dunk success when I had friends over for lunch last spring. Three of us at the whole thing.

I snagged my elbow on some wire last night and I have been whining about it all day.
