I grew up in Boston during the troubles. We were the "rear echelon" of the IRA. Funding, arming, sheltering fugitives from justice. We weren't innocents.
OTOH I was hoping to get back to Belfast this year but am not confident that I could make it back thru US customs without being renditioned.
