Oh no - I think he heard it loud and clear - Keating swooped in before Self could collect himself enough to respond.

Way to go, Congressman Bill Keating. Standing up for the right thing is in short supply today. Kudos to both you and Congresswoman Sarah McBride.

The White House and mealy mouthed Karolyn Leavitt, the faucet spewing the lies, sure made it clear today that AP is in the cross hairs.

History shows that if one group can turn a person or another group into "The Other", by claiming they have no worth, no humanity, then vilification and even eradication of the person or group becomes the acceptable societal action.

And I grieve for you and for all vets who gave "the full measure" and are now being so disrespected. To the writer of that letter: your life was not wasted; you and so many others lived by principles that I'm sure were taught to others. Take heart and be proud of a life well lived

Because Trump has and is being financially backed by Musk to further his political agenda wouldn't advertising Tesla's from outside the White House Rose Garden be a Hatch Act violation?
comment in response to

The sad thing is that no one is calling Musk on calling Mark Kelly a traitor!

It probably is a Hatch Act violation, but no one stopped him when he violated it during his first term either. There's always so much other wreckage to look at - a monster of misdirection!

A photo of one of the Space x explosions on the cover of that calendar would "set it off" well and continue the theme.

I am heartsick over what is transpiring and also questioning whether Ukraine should trust the security promises Trump is offering. What happens when those rare earth minerals the US needs right now are no longer a needed commodity? Given his track record, can Trump be trusted to do the right thing?

While I tend to agree with you, my hope is that that is not the case. In these extreme times, "both side ism" is not going to cut it for the Dems. Positioning itself in the "Middle of the road "without a clear progressive message is doomed.

I tried to email several of them to express my ire; however, because my zip code is not in their congressional district, their accounts would not accept my email. I guess I'll just have to call them.

It does, but it won't because the legacy media are afraid of their bottom lines and of angering those who are wielding the cudgel (or chain saw). Even the uplifting unfurling of the Ukranian flag on the ellipse in D.C. yesterday was difficult to find on traditional media sites. So Sad.

Totally agree! I am doing the same thing. We don't need rep s that are speaking out of both sides of their mouths. I would add several others to that list, Connecticut's Chris Murphy for one.

They can't find them? Tell the computer "genius" who fired them to Google it! Maybe they need the FBI to find them? Oh wait; that won't work now will it?

As evidence that they, if fact, have been illegally blocked from a government building that houses the workings of the U.S. Department of Education where, as U.S. legislators, they should be admitted. A picture is worth 1000 words.

Just do a search for your state's Attorney General. One of the options will be to file a complaint. Fill in the info and submit. It takes about 5 or 6 minutes. I've already received two emails: a confirmation of my complaint and a File/Case number.

I just filed a complaint with my state's Attorney General against Elon Musk and his gang for illegal access to my private data through his veritable takeover of the U.S. Treasury Department.
