Any organization that consistently refers to failure events using obtuse and intentionally vague descriptive phrases rather than plain English should not be trusted with anything of importance whatsoever.

It’s just a matter of time before they roll up on someone and encounter armed resistance, whether it’s the target(s) of the action or someone(s) nearby that’s carrying. Really surprised those incognito goons haven’t pushed back at least a little on the vulnerable spot they’re being put in.

Every time I looked at the clips of those units marching, all I could think about was how righteously pissed those CSMs were going to be and how much shit was gonna rain down when they got back to garrison.

Oh wow, I never knew that existed. Very similar to the Hwy 99 viaduct along the Seattle waterfront (now also gone - good riddance!).

One possible upside is that they’ll fall under the UCMJ and be punishable for any wrongdoing under that should we regain a sane administration.

He has single-handedly destroyed every ounce of credibility for that panel for at least the remainder of the decade. This is a slow-moving disaster and many will unnecessarily die as a direct result.

By and large, WA in general is bereft of truly good food choices for regular (not special occasion) eating out. Everything remotely ethnic/regional is mid at best, from pizza and Thai to southern and BBQ. It’s one thing I really do miss about living somewhere like ATL.

Completely agree with you on the passport card. When my wife and I each renewed our passports we got one, and for the intended purpose of Real ID it seems like a no-brainer.

Endorsed. Went with Deco XE75 Pro WiFi 6E mesh units when we moved last year, and totally agree. Work great, fast, easy setup.

I’m absolutely willing to believe that he’s made ~200 “subdeals” with specific companies that are paying (bribing) him for tariff exemptions.

Miller and Vought are the two behind-the-scenes engines of destruction and evil that most need to be removed from positions of power. Nearly all of the worst parts of Trump 2.0 are directly attributable to one of those two.

Consistently proving that they’re just the worst fucking people.

I generally agree. The real lever-movers are the people in critical positions behind him - Miller and Vought foremost. This is *their* agenda, he’s just the public face, and he’s largely clueless about what’s actually happening.

JFC, they’re going to force me to become a vegetarian.

We have Passport Cards, which are a form of national ID, they just aren’t mandatory (or simple to acquire).

Would make a killer setting for a murder-mystery movie.

Solar+storage at home-scale is amazing. If only we could get more people to do it. I have 10kW of solar plus one 13kWh battery in the PNW, and I’m already running a monthly surplus. By the end of next month I’ll be a net producer on the calendar year.

Nearly everyone in the linked article filed intent to sell (as they must as company officers) many months ago. This is not spontaneous market timing via tip-off. I guarantee there were benefactors who got insider info on the tariffs announcements and made bank from it, but this ain’t that.

I haven’t looked, but as company officers all of those mentioned would have had to register their intent to sell perhaps months in advance. Likely not inside information but rather simply reading the Trump tea leaves as many of us did.

As much as we want him to be, he’s not really that stupid. He knows precisely what the difference is, but is trying to be a clever boy. The problem is that it works on a particular segment of people.

Oh, that could be so good with the right treatment. I read the Elric series several times over as a young teen. I may need to read them all again…

“But I felt it was important to get on the mats any way, because that's what men do.” Patently ridiculous that he thinks the DDFBI needs to be “on the mats” to be effective. Grapplin’ Dan is just like Push-up Pete - no idea of what the role really means or needs.

Not to mention that the rendition stuff is the most un-American and anti-Constitutional of the lot, and worth fighting even if the other stuff wasn’t happening.

And Trump himself is driving the other categories down, so let the guy cook on those! Hammer the one that’s still net+ and push him underwater completely.

I had to look it up - how convenient that she just happens to be the 47th gov of AR.

Not sure if this will be the thing that does it, but Rubio is absolutely going to get stuffed at some point. I’m convinced that Trump put him there with full intention of humiliating him when the right opportunity arises.
