It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Where are the Democrats but also Where are the churches Where are the celebrities Where are the NGOs Where are the Universities Where are professional groups like AMA Where are the athletes Where are the unions What people/groups do and don’t do for next month determines our collective future

Many are asking what should we do now? “We use our power, organize, mobilize, educate…the American story will not be written by who occupies the White House or by the wealthiest among us…it will be written by you, by ‘we the people.’” -fmr VP Kamala Harris receiving the NAACP Chairman’s Award.

its amazing the way conservative arguments fall completely apart in court when there are actually penalties for lying

On point

A defining policy battle is about to come to a head in this country. The Republican budget will force everyone - especially Congress and the White House - to make plain whether they are prepared to harm the rest of us in order to fund tax cuts for the wealthiest.

Statement from the Musk-appointed head of SSA celebrating the deletion of research grants studying the financial security of the older adults and the disabled. Just one way that the richest man in the world is dictating societal priorities. www.ssa.gov/news/press/r...

Good insight from Stancil

This is key to understanding the building outrage & backlash that extends way beyond the hurt of those fired. Firing people for no reason is brutal & loathsome but the even larger overall offense is wiping out all the fired people’s jobs with them, all the purposes & needs & value those jobs serve.

Rep. Grothman (R-WI): President Trump has done some very good things Crowd: Booooo

There’s not a word in this story about the corrupt nature of this dismissal. Not a concern voiced, not a question raised, not even an acknowledgment that he’s the president’s biggest donor and he’s acting as an unelected, unconfirmed tyro wielding unchecked power over spending and the civil service.

this conversation helped me understand what's been happening at the Treasury Department, though I can't say I came away particularly reassured www.lawfaremedia.org/article/lawf...

Shutting down already-installed infrastructure in the name of government "efficiency" while also harming business competitors of a government official who just happens to have his own network of EV chargers.

the Chinese just had the biggest and most successful hack of telecom systems in american history and our top communications regulator is busy threatening CBS with a sham investigation of 69 Minutes

PORTLAND: Tesla will be exhibiting vehicles at the Oregon International Auto Show, starting today and running through the end of the weekend. People use this event to survey the market for new vehicles ahead of purchasing, so it's an ideal place to interrupt potential new Tesla sales. #TeslaTakedown

This is like opposing a joint resolution declaring that the Sun sets in the West America doesn’t just look like an idiot here, we look like goddamn Flat Earthers

AOC: And he is running around because he thinks he got a bank account with a lot of zeros in it that it makes him some kind of super citizen. I don't think so.

People just trying to live their basic lives now find themselves awake at night, fearing for their future, losing income, and facing healthcare uncertainty, all because a few men, this psycho included, got bored with having too much and decided to disrupt millions for their own entertainment.

Trump is most definitely NOT the federal law.

These people all clearly believe that no law enforcement will be coming for them. Thanks, SCOTUS, fascist friends & enablers and country destroyers

“If you’re going to just yell at me, that’s not going be an effective town hall,” McCormick said, five minutes into defending Musk’s U.S. DOGE Service. “But we’re pissed!” a woman shouted.” www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

A female admiral. A Black general.

Turkey was not always an autocracy. It had a democracy. It still has elections. But its real democracy has gone away through shock and awe. It can happen everywhere if you're not vigilant and have shared agreement in the democratic project. One day it's just....gone.

Wow, nice tool for figuring out the impact of all this crap in YOUR Congressional district: democrats-budget.house.gov/legislation/...

Regular, not newshound folks that I know are so angry by the lawlessness, and also extremely disappointed AGAIN by the so-called “justice system” which has now for years let DJT & cronies get away w so much obviously corrupt & even traitorous actions.

Indian intermediaries re-export aircraft parts worth millions from Western firms to buyers in Russia. “More than 40% of the cargoes sent to Russian companies, long reliant on foreign-made parts, appear to have initially come from the US, and 1/3 came from European airports.”

Teachers teach. We need a leaderful movement, and there are leaders all around us.

This kind of thing is so psychic damage-inducing but it really reinforces how many people don’t pay attention to anything and just let vibes guide their opinion. Message is to have superior vibes

BREAKING: The SEC has dropped its enforcement case against Coinbase. Coinbase spent $46 million to influence the outcome of the election. Now they're already getting their payoff.

The Senate majority is full of traitors violating their oaths of office & enabling constant and flagrant violation of the laws. Despite judgments against it, DJT administration keeps violating laws & is increasing their violations & is using the DOJ to pressure folks. So US military, your oaths?

"“In the US, we appeal rulings we disagree with – we don’t ignore court orders or threaten judges with impeachment just because we don’t like the decision. This is a coup, plain and simple,” Arizona’s attorney general, Kris Mayes, said." www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

People have gone to jail for less.

Once again: Europe, welcome as many scientists as possible. Like, now. Invite them, grant them visas and scholarships, offer them jobs 🙏♥️

And lessening or removing sanctions on Russia enables them to more easily & cheaply purchase tech/weapons to attack Ukraine (hard now, more expensive bc workarounds hard) & allows Putin replenish his coffers. Hope Europe sanctions US if DJT does this. Traitor
