Toning down the RPG mechanics to attract more new players. Its a big reason why the game was so successful. If Skyrim had Morrowind like quest hints instead of what it had, the game would have been much less appealing to non-veterans.

Its crazy. The "open" in open source used to mean something. Imagine punishing the people of a country for the actions of their government which they probably don't even endorse. Really disappointed in Linus.
