Coolest thing I've seen at Salute today: this minis version of the classic early-80s Atari arcade game Battlezone. Not the digital-to-tabletop adaptation I'd expected to find, but wow.

The fountain pen of the day is the LAMY Studio 'Black Forest' Green, with its characteristic propeller blade-inspired clip and all-metal body. It's a hefty pen, but still looks sleek, and is very nice to write with. The colour was difficult to capture, but is a deep speckled dark green.

The fountain pen of the day is an Inoxcrom "Atlantic Black Laquer". They are a Spanish stationary maker whose cartridge fountain pens are well made, and while not Preppy cheap, are quite affordable.

Fountain pen of the day is the LAMY Safari. It's an affordable cartridge filler with a steel nib. I love the look of most LAMY pens. They put a lot of effort into their work, making them as functional as possible, while still having an eye for stylish design.
