It's so complex! Putting a good guy and bad guy in one body is such a flex, and they just called it out as a theme with Burt's backstory. Amazing. I am taking notes.

Well, sure but who has one of those on hand in their basement

Wow, do people not know that Earth is at risk of becoming like Venus through runaway greenhouse effect? How can anyone scoff at the risk of human extinction? That's the whole ballgame.

I really enjoyed how the show explored the humanity of its characters, and in such an affectionate way. It was extremely relatable even if you have no ties to the culture.

As fun as the multiverse was in Endgame, I knew the franchise was headed into a chaotic downward spiral after that. When anything can happen, everything does.

The things you don’t use end up in the back of the closet or the bottom of the drawer, so I like to start there. Make room for the things I actually use.

I really love fresh produce, but I don't like it arriving randomly in large quantities

So I'm glad I'm finally producing novel-length work that a me would want to read. I'm still not sure the current WIP is "it." It's a problematic and overly complicated book with difficult themes that can very easily just not make sense. But my method this time is 🔥.

Because I have so many friends who are writers, and I've watched numerous author trajectories, I know that for a novelist, just "getting published" isn't enough to launch a stable career. I haven't wanted to waste the energy of a novel debut on an undercooked effort.

Those who subscribe to the 10x programmer theory all believe they themselves are 10x programmers.

I have yet to see a detailed plausible theory for how it could have been done. Or any theory that doesn’t rely on a lot of hand waving.

Not a surprise as there is nothing in the code of a chatbot that recapitulates human cognition. True artificial general intelligence might use an LLM as a tool, but it would need many other capabilities.

I also believe it's both. There are examples of individuals who have demonstrated little pathology in the past, but after attaining great wealth and power begin exhibiting traits of disorders traditionally believed to be inborn. Perhaps it's akin to addiction which ruins good people.

I’m not sure how much the flu shots is helping this year, but even if it’s only 10%, it’s worth it.

It bothers me that others are commenting on this but not mentioning this singular flaw

Headshot of attractive man in his 40s/50s with a dating stye profile description including military service and/or high paying professional job ---> scammer? I'm getting a ton of these.

My experience is that complexity reduces as a story matures in the writing process. When I ask myself what seemingly unrelated characters, ideas, and themes have to do with each other, some collapse and fold into the central storyline, and others can be culled.

Not me. No desire for fame or attention. Makes pursuing a writing career complicated.

I’m curious, have you gone through them with the audio word for word to check for errors?

Otter but there’s a monthly limit of minutes you can transcribe. Not sure exactly what that is.
