Ha! Oh wow. Good thing you wore the underwear. I’d been wearing a towel. The trails I regularly run are getting there right now as we have had 3 days of thawing.

Great!! Solo acoustic, which I wasn’t expecting, but loved it nonetheless.

Going well I think. Yesterday was the first run in 3 weeks without spikes. Been getting in the miles but slow. 5 weeks to go and the trails are finally clear. Looking for some nice hard runs coming up.

Sunfish pond has some nice elevation. I’ve used the route up there on the AT as a training run a few times. Great climb and always a beautiful payoff to be around the pond.

not seeing any claw. Probably a cat. Bobcat most likely.

We have a sizable population in N NJ. With the signature call and unmistakable hammering on trees, I often hear them before I see them.

I’m about 88kg, I find the inner cushioning breaks down sooner than the tread or even the outer. I get about 400 miles from my Salomons (trail shoe).

I’m hoping to get something done on the morning… not driving anywhere, so I guess I’ll just try the neighborhood

It’s the best! Completely dynamic, nothing repetitive. No cars, many times, no people. An elevated high to any road run.

the more you like the particular race, the more you like the people there

I was worried about mine the other day as I only had a feed coming thru one side. But the next day they were ok 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve seen a similar response. If I have a drink or two early in the day I do not see any real difference. But if I have a drink or two in the evening my RHR will elevate 5-7 BPM that night.

I think this would be great! It is truly an athletic endeavor. And can be highly competitive.

Looking good so far. My Buckeyes are once again having a hot and cold season.

I do not take caffeine and no cat…but 💯 what you said. Ran a cold 8k at sunrise today. Currently into Monsoon, the third ‘Courtney’ book from Wilbur Smith.
