Cool, let's see if they force Denuvo and an internet requirement into this release, like they did with the last one.

Four extra buttons this time around instead of just two is nice, though.

This looks great, but it looks like Bluetooth is only supported on Android, and you need to use the dongle on the PC. That works, it's probably a better connection anyway, but I'd love to not have to take up another USB port to use a controller wirelessly. I'll stick with my 8BitDo Pro 2 for now.

Ah, okay, that makes sense.

Holy crap, thanks for pointing this out. I didn't even know anyone made a USB C-to-C cable that was 2.0.

"It isn't..." A good time to start something new? "It definitely is..." A good time to start something new? I'm going to need you to be more specific, cookie paper.

It looks really good, and I've been enjoying Rise a lot recently. I'll absolutely buy Wilds after Denuvo is gone.

This and the running spittoon gag in West of Loathing are things that I still think about.

It was modded into the first one, so I can't imagine this one won't get the same treatment. It's pretty wild to me that it didn't just come with a VR mode, though.

The GOG version is currently also on sale for $3.99. The Steam version still has Denuvo, while the GOG version doesn't. www.gog.com/en/game/mad_...

PSP and PC, as well.

Remember, they stupidly made this only playable offline on the Steam Deck; you need to be online on a non-Deck machine. To get around that, use this launch command: cmd /c "set steamdeck=1 && %command%"

Interesting idea coming from the company that doesn't let you set up their consoles without a connection to their servers.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is also currently on sale on GOG. This is the only way to get it without Denuvo on the PC. www.gog.com/en/game/yaku...

"Anti-Woke Awards" is one of the most insufferable strings of words I've ever read.

I absolutely loved Death Stranding. I thought I was going to hate it, but after trying it, I couldn't put it down. I know I'm always going on about being able to play games offline and the importance of longevity, but if you can play this one online, do, for the the passive interactions with others.

This is still the best controller that 8BitDo makes, in my opinion, and probably my overall favorite controller that I've ever used.

What fresh hell is this

Steam page is also up: store.steampowered.com/app/1984270/...

I think it was meant that it's been five years since Hacker's Memory, which was the last Digimon Story game; Survive wasn't a part of the Story series as far as I know.

That's an insane price for five fantastic games in a fantastic series.

I love that you're doing so many giveaways on here. Thanks!

It took me a couple of tries to get into the first Great Ace Attorney, because the first episode is probably one of the longest in the series, but once I had made it to Episode 2, the game got fantastic.

Still waiting for Denuvo to be patched out. This one is taking a particularly long time compared to Capcom's other titles.

Congrats to the winners!

I really enjoyed this one. It felt like the old Resident Evil games, but it did a lot of really cool puzzle things that I hadn't seen before.
comment in response to post
It's coming to Steam, and it's already on GOG. Probably won't be physical versions, though, which is kind of lame.
comment in response to post
I still don't think anything with Denuvo should be Steam Deck verified, but I obviously don't get to make those decisions. At the very least, the Denuvo warning should be even bigger and bolder in the verification notes.
comment in response to post
And remember, the native Linux version means no Denuvo!

This is an absolutely fantastic puzzle/detective game. I don't think I liked the story quite as much as the first Golden Idol game, but that's like saying that this isn't as good as the best thing ever. This game is still incredibly well done.

It's getting an offline mode, but it's still requires a WB login, for some reason. I hope that's just a one-time thing and you can back up the file that it makes locally, or something.

Still waiting for Denuvo to be removed from this one before I buy it.

Also free on GOG: www.gog.com/en/game/dyin...

Yeah, if expanding their library is Microsoft's plan, I can see this being a good idea.

I'm in the same boat, it was crazy to go with a prequel after the cliffhanger at the end of Gears 5. (That being said, I'm still buying the prequel day one.)

This has really good local multiplayer.

I'm still waiting to see if they sneak Denuvo into this at the last minute. I don't trust SEGA at all.
comment in response to post
Absolutely fantastic games, and both DRM-free, to boot. If you're a fan of Metroid-style games, these are two of the best. I'm still not sure which one I like more.
comment in response to post
And no Denuvo! It's a good day.
comment in response to post
The story wasn't quite as good as the first one, but it was still good, and the sound direction and graphics were incredible.

Also, if you do buy a used copy, Nintendo itself provides a PDF replacement copy of the AR booklet here: en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/...
