Big difference between just hearing BS rhetoric and suffering the actual consequences of the BS.
We're getting that in spades now that Trump's election pitch is turning into his unique blend of stupidity, incompetence, and malice.

It should be noted that beer and wine are not really growing in part BECAUSE OF the growing popularity of mixed drinks (i.e., liquor-based) as a substitute. A complete analysis would show the same chart for liquor.

And by the way, I agree with you generally. I just don't think the "answer" is so obvious. There's a little more nuance needed here to get the whole or vast majority of the labor base in the boat.
And of course Trump/Musk will try to split the coalition as they always do.

Haha - not trying to "do" anything. Just making a point.
And I am a real person, lol

Sure. And by the same token, your opinion, or even your union's position, is only one of many.
That's all Im saying. It's not totally straightforward or easy.

Haha - fair enough!
But I imagine there's a diversity of viewpoints and I'm just pointing out that treading the line in messaging that will get the maximum traction across the whole population might not be simple.

Except they’re actually happy about tariffs on autos imposed just now. (Of course they won’t be later when the price of autos and the recession hits - but this may not be the moment.)
Somewhat difficult to message and peel them away at the moment

Ok. But make them continue to react. Force them to continually change tactics.
Obstruct. Obstruct. Obstruct.

They are pre-positioning.
When the REAL pain comes (and oh it will), it's the fault of the ones that are fighting against this "courageous work".
Not the people who put the TARIFFS on in the first place, it's the opposition.

Yup. Fabricated pretext for cancellation. Present Zelenskyy with options he can’t possibly accede to, like a peace without NATO or is peacekeepers, and lifting sanctions on Moscow, and then turn around and say HE is the one obstructing negotiations.

Yall have no idea what you’re talking about, so I’ll just say, “yeah, nah.”
For #1, take a basic civics class.
For #2, go back and check the data.

To your second tweet. "It was out of Biden's hands" was what I meant by dems "fighting the last war." You know, when the president didn't investigate his political appointees and appointed an independent counsel. Firing the AJ and replacing him - that's not an independent DoJ. Get it?

To your first tweet. 1) Biden crushed Bernie in the primary. 2) The demographic and polling data showed that while Bernie could gain in the far left, he would lose more with centrists. He would have had his ass handed to him.

1) Biden barely won. Bernie would have lost. Then this shit happens in 2021 instead of 2025.
2) I agree the DoJ slow walked. It was the dems fighting the past war. Biden appointed Garland, who slow walked. At that point, it was out of Biden's hands, bc DoJ independence.
#2 doesn't make #1 false.

No, shouldn’t joke. That’s exactly what they should do. Only way to penetrate the propaganda network is to point at something completely undeniable that people can see in their every day lives. So many things can be obfuscate simply lied about

Kara is right. They were all on the right, and branded themselves libertarian as entrepreneurs. Libertarianism can *look like* liberalism because of its embrace of personal choice (e.g., in matters of sexuality, drugs, etc.), but equally supports laissez-faire capitalism when you’re a billionaire.
