imo it looks good with ground units too. shadows make units less floaty. if in doubt you may want to defer the decision to the options menu.

-Added a manual fire button for capital ship configurations (needs a better name) -Improved target acquisition of units a bit (they try to attack enemies which they can kill quicker) -Some AI improvements -Fixed some smaller issues

-Changed font and improved support for glyph languages (Japanese, Chinese, Korean) -Replaced tutorial panel with a tutorial mission -Now showing unpathable areas ingame -Reduced visual clutter from projectiles

-Changed the cost structure of units and income (reduced prices across the board), but increased the income rate from 5 to 6 seconds -Added a siege turret which deals a lot of damage to structures at high range -Added lots of localization, it is mission in some effect descriptions

I do definately see the lines blur here, but the narration in visual novels is much more important than in any other game (even rpgs). There is the saying "you should read a book per day", imo, this applies to paper and audio books, and visual novels. Wouldn't say the same about gaming.

right wing politicians doing right wing things. tokenism, while they enrich themselves on your work.

looks a bit boris becker-esque. not judging.

only know the "Pray for me" song, but that's a collab with The Weeknd, I think.

know the feeling. my latest game is heavily inspired by a bleak future. until there is no going back to an utopia in some shape or form I'll post politically and share my games. until you've given up, you are a political person.

oh, definately. just focus on the fun part of the game. sometimes I catch myself tinkering about. NO! STOP! if your game is fun, it will sell.

thank you for your encouraging words. :)

On my notes are (abridged) -great demo (15 mins) -great trailer -show that to 300-1k streamers -participate in festivals -get 100 wishlists a day (for a while) -release Am I missing something? Which advertising avenues do other indie use?

gotcha. sounds good, my upcoming title is an rts/strategy title. just got to follow the playbook for a decent release now.
