I get to have fun meetings with our State Attorney General explaining that apparently the court orders they won don't mean shit and there is apparently no longer basic rule of law. These are just my Tuesdays now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm absolutely the target market for Cybertrucks in the sense that I've literally owned a truck hit by stray gun fire, in a city with rampant carjackings, and you couldn't pay me to own one of those death traps. Personally, I prefer my trucks to truck.

I swear, you couldn't do more to undermine our food sovereignty and security if you tried.

They've taken away funding for flood resilience, after two years in which we've had three historic flood events. Our farm fields are washing away. And even if there was funding, they've fired the staff who farmers rely on for engineering and technical assistance to make those projects happen.

Farmers still haven't been reimbursed for work completed under contract, driving them towards financial insolvency. Tariffs are going to hit hard, and while Trump tweets that farmers should "have fun" selling to local markets, the administration has gutted mechanisms to do that.

Also, historically, chicken feed in urban environments has attracted rats, which becomes a whole other type of disease vector, one that carries diseases easily spread to humans.

The levels of WASTE this is producing would be hilarious if this weren't real life. This is some Franz Kafka level bullshit. We are living in a nightmare.

This means you have fed employees now having to drop everything to SCRUB THOUSANDS OF APPLICATIONS of undesirable language then REDESIGN THE GRANT RANKING SYSTEM and RE-RANK ALL APPLICATIONS based on the EXACT SAME CRITERIA to come to the EXACT SAME OUTCOME just without reference to censored terms.

These categories come from the 2018 Farm Bill, which is law enacted by Congress that the administration cannot unilaterally override. The USDA legally has to design grant applications to take "historically underserved" status into account, but now they can't use the WORDS "historically underserved."

One of the statutory mandates of the USDA is to help "historically underserved" farmers. This includes the following categories: 1. First-time farmers 2. Limited-income farmers (living at or below the poverty threshold for a family of four) 3. Veterans 4. Socially disadvantaged farmers*

Fuck 'em. Here's the motorcade coming into town. Security like that, you'd think he was driving through Ukraine. Not that he'd know. Give 'em the boot.

Apparently they not only emailed current federal employees, but also past employees. My cousin got this "request" and hasn't worked for the feds since 2008... I also randomly ended up on other federal HR emails, and I've *never* been a federal employee. This level of shit-showery is truly boggling.

What is the most maximally efficient space-time configuration of butter chicken/rice/take out trash/feed dog/fold laundry/entertain child?

Lol, I feel this. If I'm not simultaneously cooking dinner, loading dishes, warming a bottle, prepping tomorrow's coffee, and checking emails... am I even doing *anything*?
