Not thrilled.... Will be even less thrilled if Rubella (aka 'German measles') rears its head -signed, Congenital Rubella survivor (1960s epidemic).

I could stand to use it too. Apparently I either still have the same cold or I have a brand new on complete with snotty nose. So far 2025 is the pits!!

Yikes. Well I first got sick around Jan 18... Bad enough to call out from work (later found out 10 people called off sick). A month later I still have some residual coughing. Did COVID, Strep A, RSV last Tues all negative. Get well soon!

My heart goes out to you Drago. She sounds like someone that my aunt would love to chat with. she raised awesome children and taught them well the lessons of life โค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐

Does anyone know what programming language is used for the Treasury (or wherever those kids are). If they are still on Mainframe & COBOL(I
I think yes) the kidlets wouldn't know much Mainframe, judging from their resumes. Once worked at DoD DFAS in Denver- mainframe QA. I miss it.

I had cataract surgeries as a baby between 6 mos to 1.5 yrs old-ish- 4 different procedures on each eye (and 1 repeat surgery) so can't say I remember anything. When I got lens implants as an adult, had to hold eye stead while awake; same w/ glaucoma surgery. Hard to do even w/ sedation.

I think this is Maude, spin off from All in the Family. Bea is definitely a 'Golden Girl' in any decade. Loved her wit. 1st time seeing this clip ๐

Up with my nasty cold/headache again
. Ah- I see it as 30, after starting to type the bar expands & the number disappears. Oddly no matter what I do with Bluesky and/or phone font size settings it disappears anyway. Even on the teeniest size font ๐. I'll do screen shots later ๐คง. TY Drago!

300? Now I know. That other platform is 240 I think? Still it's always "fun" to try to be creative writing a past. Doesn't help that I can't really tell when the REPLY button grays out when char limit is passed; just the inability to type as there's no character counter.

My hearing aids are not blue tooth compatible (they're 10 years old and can't afford new ones) was happy to get my hands on an android with a headphone jack for a DAI cord. Now to find a device that plays music & has a headphone jack, can't have phone in work area, camera/recording are nonos.

Psst. Maybe in a future update remove the ^ arrow on the left side when in a feed (like Following) or relocate it. I accidentally touch it frequently and it puts me back at the top in the middle of me reading my feed..

Thank you! There were no captions so had no idea what was being said. I'd interpret the ASL but screen too small to see (for me at least). Wonder if this is on YouTube.

I worry about Rubella... If that vaccine disappears pregnant women who catch it will pass the virus on to the unborn causing disabilities- I'm one of the 'Rubie Babies' during the Rubella baby bulge period in the 1960s.

Had chicken pox as kid, in 1996 or so (age early 30)got what seemed like shingles middle of abdomen. Extreme itch caused me to rip off one blister (still have scar). Got the vac when I hit 50.
