There is a joke here about the steps, the Battleship Potemkin, the KGB, and soviet communism. But I can't formulate it.

The Greens tried this after 2008, I think. They never got any traction with it.

In an undergrad econ class, the conclusion of a lesson on trade blocs was that the country that benefits the most always feels like it's losing out to the rest of the bloc and wants out. Never thought I'd see the US assume that role.

I dont think US political parties have known what they were doing since maybe the 80s. The Republicans have gone rogue since 2015.

I work with a system that will not accept $0.00 anywhere, but for some reason will accept $0.001 and round to $0.00. Inventory control/POS/accounting software.

This is a good article and a pointed reminder to legislators. But to imply that Wallace's legacy is anything but... complex...is selling history short.

Isn't this the argument for bodycams? 60% of the time the footage is boring, 20% it's a cop messing up, 20% is the suspect throwing Pick 6s and posterizing themselves for highlight reels?

A lot of rural land also seems to sell through word of mouth. Maybe talk with local game wardens, forestry and ag agents, and local outdoor stores.

National Land has a sort field for that on their website. At least for hunting/fishing. As for mtn biking, well, that's this biker's dream. Maybe put the word out through local mtn biking groups, you can find them through IMBA or SORBA. Maybe someone wants to chance it.

I should specify by commercial I mean something like a mountain bike park or a rental hunting/fishing lodge. Not something else like a strip mall.

I don't know anything about Northern Alabama real estate, but with a spread that big he may want to look at a real estate agent who deals with forestry and hunting land. National Land Realty is one. He also may want to try and market it as a commercial property.
