Yang on the right and go proper Ronny Deila and play McGregor as a left winger

Think he should, he's shown to be better at progressing the ball forward and playing the ball over the top, bypassing the midfield. I think we'll need that on Thursday.

Wow, we really need a better tv deal 😬

How much does the ~€5.5m compare to what the annual revenue of Hearts outside of europe would be?

A lot of these rivalries have periods of dominance from one team. Occasionally it swings back and forth, or returns to parity.

Regarding celtic, I think even if we finish top end of the playoffs, we'll end up with Real Madrid or someone and get pumped because they'll go out in January and buy a load of players to improve themselves.

Watched quantum the other day, not actually as bad as I remember. So it's worth a rewatch. If not that then From Russia with Love. Quality film.

It would be very funny if PSG don't progress

If they've sussed out a way to stop mass bot accounts here, then that would be ideal.

I think Maeda and Taylor work well together. When the podcast was talking about the fullbacks being key because their right winger and right back liked to get forward - all I could think was about Cerny and Tavernier being much the same.

I've got to say, the Bratislava - Milan result makes me less worried that Brugge had a "good performance" against Milan. I know it's totally different games, but we scudded them 5-1 while Milan scrape a 3-2 win.

Will be interesting to see any "combined XIs" that come out before the 15th of December 👀

In the league and europe, he's played a total of 280 minutes. Maximum played by anyone in the squad is 1440 minutes. Dunno if he will be there too much longer before he's loaned out for game time.

0.039xG per shot, and I'm assuming the goal is skewing the xG up a bit. Not a great threat every shot then - assuming their other forward players are the finishers?

If we go unbeaten in the league again this season, that's three seasons in the last 10 that a team has went unbeaten. Really think there needs to be some emergency talks, or whatever, within the SPFL to figure out how to fix this - cause it isn't a sign of a healthy league.

Derailed Celtic in the 2020/21 season. A lot of focus on 10 in a row and holding onto players like Edouard, Christie, etc when they were at their peak value (though the chronic underinvestment in the squad in the years prior didn't help either). There were other factors, but it didn't help.

I know it's completely different situations, but I think Rangers proves a cautionary tale about holding onto players for too long and not selling them just after their peak value. Major caveat being: Salah is one of the best attacking players to play in the EPL.

I would much rather they go in massively underestimating us

Was trying to work this out, but how many coefficient points would Scotland get if all three teams reach the last 16 of their respective competitions?
comment in response to post
Just don't want the Celtic board to do what they did in 2012 and just sit back happy enough to be one step ahead of rangers. We missed a massive opportunity to become like Ajax or Benfica, become a consistent feature in the CL and make some deeper runs in both the CL and EL. Can't miss that again.

"Supercomputer SMASHES woke Europhile Boffins' EPL predictions" - the S*n soon enough

Don't want to sound dense here, but is that not a typical winger's heatmap?
comment in response to post
So you're allowed to score penalties then?

Can I shock you? I like Kuhn

Might have been the right idea, our 2 goals before the subs seemed to be bypassing the midfield
comment in response to post
Our passing through the lines in from the middle to the front third has been very slack. Definitely need to tighten them up a bit.
comment in response to post
Absolutely the worst one we could have got as well

Ooft ideal. Need to either keep Valle or go out and get a better LB than both of them really. Only way we'll improve is if every position has competition.

They'll only ever show if they're good enough if they're given starts. One youth player in the starting 11 is not gonna ruin our performance, only way they will get up to speed is throwing them in the deep end. If we done that with Doak we might have kept him.

The one thing that amazes me from his time there, was I'm pretty sure one season he would have won the league if Neuer essentially hid behind the goals the whole season. They conceded that few shots on target.
comment in response to post
I don't want to see too much rotation in a game, but you have to start getting Bernardo, McCowan, and Idah minutes. All three, I think, can improve quickly in this team, but they need consistent minutes to do so.
comment in response to post
Are these starting players for them?
comment in response to post
It sounds like if they sign a different kind of striker it could solve some issues. But it's bizarre to me that Ange can't get Spurs to break down stubborn defences, he was the Celtic Manager after all.
comment in response to post
To be fair to them, fairly sure all of the surround of Celtic Park will have much the same soon enough

Just hoping we put on a decent performance
