San Franciscan hacker who found himself stuck in Istanbul for 10 years. Kind of a percussionist, kind of a nomad.
I love bicycles, percussion, wandering around aimlessly and puppies.
I’m burnt out on politics and I really really hate beets. Fuck beets.

I wonder what mental disease is that makes somebody completely incapable of shame and embarrassment, because everything he says is so cringe worthy it squicks me out beyond beyond comprehension.
Even despite the evil intent, it’s just read everything that Nazi says is so fucking cringe.

its been 30 years but I remember there were 2 places we used to go in Easton. One was a great bbq place and the other was a great hot dog place. One of them was named Dick’s, but I forget which one.
The grumpy old hot dog guy apparently died recently.
Easton was rough in the ‘90s

I have been to illegal Yemeni, Syrian and Indonesian restaurants in Istanbul that were in flats. You had to hear about them from someone. In all cases it was the mothers / grandmothers of people who came as students or refugees.

Go there and heckle him the way MTG heckled Biden.

Throw rocks at him.

The world would be a much better place if everybody treated each other the way Mike Park treats others. He's just the nicest, most compassionate person and cares very deeply about making the world a better place through music.

We allowed ourselves to become their bitches by resting on our laurels, by not participating in pre-election democracy, by allowing senior citizens to run our parties, and by not playing as dirty as the republicans played. Now it's game over.

Our government will do *NOTHING* to save us. We have to assume every single politician and every single judge is comprised, even the supposed democrats.

Damn. TBH I didn't know he was still alive, but I just re-watched The Conversation last week. He was a damn fine actor.

As long as one is able to buy a new phone, a new laptop and a new Kindle that supports USB-C.
My phone and laptop are five years old. My Kindle is 10 years old. USB-C just meant another set of converters I had to buy.
The great thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from.

My grandfather was a son of Polish refugees, and he had dozens of jokes about Poles he would rattle off in rapid fire. Apparently they even had a Standup night at the Polish community center where he would hear new jokes .

Crazy as that's literally the first rhythm you learn when you take drum lessons. I could see maybe Tommy Gun's drum line, but Train in Vain? Crazy!
