@tenth-muse.com endorse Bill’s recommendation of Wa reds, but especially for Red Blends/Meritages. They are softer and usually less alcoholic. Look also at Paso Robles for these. Just had a very easy and pleasant Meritage Grand Reserve Trader Joe label from Paso Robles

Side note, my dad grew up on a farm in the tree line at the mid-right of the photo. He went to that church. I’m related however distantly to most of the people there. Photo is from just before COVID. Took my oldest kid to see where his GF was from while we were in Tx for an aunt’s 100 birthday
